    Annual Sports Meet 2022 – 2023

    Cricket Tournament Specific Rules & Regulations

    1. This is League & knock-out tennis ball Tournament with T10 format. Each innings is limited to
    10 overs.

    2. The tournament shall be held at NBTC cricket ground in M i na Abdulla (Opposite


    Corp. Head office ). If any change in this planned venue or schedule will be intimated
    to the respective teams in advance at the earliest.

    3. Semi Final & Final matc h is limited 12 overs each*.

    4. Byes, leg byes and over throws are applicable in this tournament. While LBW are not
    applicable

    5. A bowler is not allowed to bowl more than 2 overs for T10 & 3 overs T12.

    6. Power Play is allowed for the first two Over Only. Maximum two fielders only allowed
    outside the 30 yard Circle.

    7. At the instance of the delivery there should not be more than 5 fielders on the leg side.
    ( including Bowler )

    8. Free Hit only for front foot “NO” balls.

    9. Pads, keeping & batting gloves are allowed. But not Compulsory

    10. In case of an abandoned match, the Organizing committee will have the right to

    Cancel / reschedule the match or to conduct in a less over format as deemed fit.

    11. In case of a tie, the winner will be decided by a “super over”. The rules of the super over will
    be informed at the time of the instance. For super over only playing 11 is allowed.

    12. Semifinals & Final may be conducted on the same day*.

    13. Teams should provide the names of players, Three days before the match.

    14. A player is not allowed to play in more than one team. If we observe this on field,

    That team will be disqualified and will not be allowed to play further in the tournament.

    15. Each team can have maximum of 16 Players.

    16. Manager / Captain will be the interacting person with the organizing committee off the
    field and the Captain (only) will be the interacting person with umpires in the field.

    17. The umpire’s decision shall be final

    18. Teams are requested to play in the true spirit of the game. In case of any dispute, the
    final decision is taken by the organizing committee.

    19. Teams should report 30 minutes before the playing time. Teams are requested to
    strictly adhere to the time limit to enable completion of the matches on time.

    20. After toss, fielding team should arrange field as soon as possible to avoid any delay to
    start the game. Batsmen allowed to enter the field only after the field arrangement.

    21. All Teams are advised to avoid any unnecessary delay before or during the game to keep
    our time schedule. Organizing committee will have full authority to intervene in such case.

    22. Each captain should nominate his playing eleven before the toss. Change of player after the
    nomination shall be with consent of the opposite team captain.

    23. Players can play in any team, irrespective of Division / Project Etc.

    24. If any teams fails to report for play within 15 minutes of the scheduled starting time, then for
    each 5 minute delay, one over will be deducted. If team fails to reach on time then walkover
    will be given to opponent, at the discretion of the organizing committee.
