Before we start let us pray, Mr. Jonard please lead the prayer
B. MOTIVATIONAL
Have you seen your photograph when you were a baby? Yes, Ma'am.

development.
How well do you know the stages of development? Do you have any idea about it
class?
EXPLORE
A. PRE ACTIVITY
To further understand this let us familiarize the different words you will
encounter for todays lesson by answering our game.
Direction: Identify the magic word form as you read and observe the sound of
group of words.
Here's an example that will serve as your guide by answering the activity.

DISCUSSION
All of us start from the time our mother gave birth to us and just like humans,
animals also undergo different stages of their development.
LIFE CYCLE- It is a series of changes and development that passes through from
the beginning of life to death.
Humans undergo different life stages as time goes by and experience different
characteristics. Those characteristics include physical, emotional and others.
Human life cycle begins with infancy.
INFANCY- it is last the first year of life. The infant is completely dependant on
his/her parents for survival.
MIDDLE AGE- It happens between the ages 40 and above up to 60. This stage in
life is the transitioning stage and physical adjustment stage. An individual may
experience decline in physical and mental capabilities.
DEATH- This is the physical condition of the body when all the organs do not
anymore function to continue life. This is sometimes called cellular or organ
death. This state may not always happen after old age. Some people die young.
Animals grow and change as they mature and become adult. Each type of
animals have their own unique life cycle. The life cycle of animals such as insect is
considered a complete metamorphosis that undergoes the 4 stages such as egg,
larva, pupa and adult.
1st stage is the egg, next it will become a larva, the 3rd stage is the pupa and it
will become an adult mosquito.
Mosquitoes lay eggs that hatch in water, become the larva commonly knows is
wrigglers. Even with small amount of water, the larva can grow. Eventually it
becomes a pupa with an outer covering of a cocoon. Inside the cocoon, the larva
recognize to produce the parts of an adult. The adult then emerges from the
pupal stage when the cocoon breaks . Mosquitoes need water and land as
habitat to continue their life cycle.
Now, let's study about the incomplete metamorphosis that has 3 stages.
1st stage, a grasshopper lay eggs in the soil, 2nd nymph, nymph that hatched
from the eggs, a nymph looks like an adult grasshopper but it doesn't have wings,
as it grows a nymph sheds it's outer body covering several times, the last stage
shediry produes adult grasshopper.
Do you understand now that stages of the life cycle of animals?
Yes Ma'am!
ELABORATE
A. GENERALIZATION
Yes Ma'am.
Always Remember: The life cycle is a series of changes and development that
passes through from the beginning of life to death.
Very good Class! Seems like you know very well our topic for today!
