I trust this letter finds you well. We would like to draw your attention to Division Memorandum
No. 479, S. 2023, concerning the Simultaneous Tree Planting Activity in support of Project
"DepEd’s 236,000 Trees - A Christmas Gift for the Children."
Date: December 6, 2023

Time: 7:00 AM
Venue: Kumalarang Central Elementary School
We are excited to announce that the event is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 7:00 AM in our
school premises. To make this activity more inclusive and impactful, we request your active
participation. Each Grade 6 teacher is kindly asked to select an additional 3 students from your
class to join the activity. In addition to the students, the 11 officers from the Student
Environmental Leadership Group (SELG) will be participating, along with selected teachers
from higher grades.
This collaboration among grade levels aims to create a sense of unity and collective
responsibility towards the environment. We believe that involving students from various grades
will enrich the experience for everyone involved.
Participants are requested to bring fruit trees for planting during the activity. Additionally, each
participant should be prepared to make a tree guard. This small but significant step will
contribute to the long-term success of the planted trees and showcase our commitment to
environmental sustainability.
Your cooperation is crucial, and we appreciate your efforts in making this event a success. Please
ensure that all participants are present at the designated venue by 7:00 AM.
