ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The researchers would like to thank those who contributed for completion if this
research. First and foremost, the researchers would like to give a big thanks to our
Almighty god for giving us strength, knowledge, ability and opportunity to undertake this
research study without his guidance and mercy, the researchers would not be able to
accomplish this research and all our daily endeavors. To god be the glory.

Second, the researchers would like thank our school principal Ma’am Rosita M.
Gregorio for giving us this opportunity to conduct our study at Curuan National High
School that help us to developed valuable life lessons of patience, perseverance
teamwork, resilience, cooperation and most of all, the endless pursuit of knowledge.

Also, the researchers would like to convey our deep and sincere gratitude towards
to Ma’am Leah Riza G. Angeles for providing invaluable guidance, support, advises,
comments, suggestions and provisions that help in the completion and success of study. It
was a great privilege and honor to work and study under her.

The researchers would also like to express our greatest gratitude towards to our
parents for their endless, love, prayers, support and sacrifices. This would not be possible
without their unselfish love and support that they give to us all the time.

ABSTRACT

Learning styles refers to the way that a student learns, it is their preferred way to
absorb, processes, comprehend, and retain information. This study mainly aimed to
identify the different learning styles of Grade 12 Students of Curuan National High
School. This study is quantitative research which utilize a descriptive research design. The
researchers make used of an adopted research instrument with a little revision. The
respondents of this study are the Grade 12 Students of Curuan National High School with
a population of 460 Students. 80 Students were drawn from the population using stratified
sampling technique. Results shows that most of the Grade 12 Students of Curuan National
High School are most likely a read and write learners, since the read and write learning
styles is dominating among the different strands, as well in the comparison of learning
styles on the Student’s sexes.
