OBSERVE

Observe a class and interview the Resource Teacher. Ask how the personal and physical
aspects of classroom management ensure proper classroom management and discipline.

Analyze the different elements of personal/physical classroom management and answer the
following question.

1. How does the voice of the teacher affect classroom instruction?


 The understanding of the lesson depends on the voice of the teacher. It is the assest of
the teacher. It is the tool in getting the students attention. A moderate voice of a
teacher is one of most importand element of classroom instruction. A voice of the
teacher should be clear and loud enoughto heard in the entire classroom so that all the
learners pay attention during discussion.

2. How does the punctuality of the teacher affect classroom discipline?


 The punctuality of the teachers affect the classroom discipline because a teacher is a
role model of the classroom. If they saw their teacher come to school early, they will do
their best to follow the behavior of the teacher. If they saw their teacher laziness in the
classroom, it will negatively affect the discipline of the students.

3. Why do we need to check on the physical aspects of classroom management?


 In order to have a smooth flow of instructions, a teacher should always check a
classroom management. Checking this physical aspects of classroom management, a
learning environment would ensure the safety and order of the class.

Reflect on the aspects of personal and classroom management.

1. What does this statement mean to you as a future teacher? Explain. “No amount of good
instruction will come out without effective classroom management.”
 Classroom management, procedures and organization is a foundation for a successful
classroom learning experience. By this, students may know what are the classroom
requirements and procedures. The students also know their responsibilities during the
class and they are aware of consequences that may happen if they did not follow the
rules. And if the teachers have no management skills are most loss to know what to do.

2. What are your plans in ensuring effective classroom management?


 I will establish the connection with each students and I will let them know that I
understand and care to them. I will arrange my instruction to maximize as much as
possible. I will let my students to help establish guidelines instead of telling them what
to do. I will avoid punishment in my classroom for my students not to be threaten in
me.

 The teachers employed 3 strategies, it will help students to ensure that they work
productively and openly in the classroom, which will lead the students achieving their
goal.

been used instead? Explain.

 The teachers strategies that are not in used is classroom punishment. Punishment can
harm and threaten the learners especially the relationship between the teacher and
the students. It will affect the classroom management.

As a future teacher, reflect on the observations then answer the given question.

1. What classroom management strategies do I need to employ to respond to diverse types of


learners?
 I will incorporate diversity in my lesson plan. I will ensure that the diversity is presented
in my actual lesson plan to ingrain cultural awareness.
