Circuit Diagram
In the circuit diagram, “NIU” is an abbreviation for “Not in Use,” and
“UnPop” is an abbreviation for “Unpopulated.” They both mean non-mounted
components. The circuit board and circuit board diagram show silk-screened
indications, but no components are mounted.

There are cases that the circuit diagrams are omitted. This omission will
happen to the highly integrated digital circuit boards (e.g. Main Board etc) that
are virtually impossible to repair nor analyze.

Disassembly Procedure
1. Remove screws securing the Top Case to the Bottom Case. 6. Lift the keyboard from the rear side and remove a screw fixing the wiring
(Plain View (Fig.A) (2) (p. 11), View A5, screw a (x 20)) connected to the Main Board, cut a bundling-tie and disconnect the
connector.
2. Lift the Top Case from the front side and remove a screw fixing the

wiring connected to the Panel Board, cut a bundling-tie and disconnect
the connector.

7. Detach the keyboard.


When the keyboard is detached, Speakers, the Jack Board and Main
