The church was formed through the merger of the Free Apostolic Church of Pentecost and the Church of God of Pentecost in 1995.

    Pentecostal (Protestant) church. Founded by Dr. Leonidas Feggos Pentecost
    in 1965, it now counts more than 140 churches and over 10,000 Classification Protestant
    members in Greece. The Free Apostolic Church of Pentecost has Orientation Pentecostal
    churches and missions also in Cyprus, Albania, Bulgaria,
    Germany, Belgium, Slovakia, United Kingdom, U.S. (New York Region Worldwide
    and Ohio), Australia and Africa. (mainly in
    Greece)
