2.5 Checking safe isolation from
supply
Shutter opener

DANGER
Check the safe isolation
from supply of all phases
in accordance with Guide rail
DIN VDE 0105.

• Switchpanels without
supplementary equipment:
− Open the door of the high-voltage
compartment as described in Moving rail
Section 2.3.1.
− Remove the withdrawable section
as described in Section 2.4.
− Push the shutter opener - instead of
the withdrawable section - on the
moving and guide rails located on Figure 25 Shutter opener pushed on moving and guide rails
the left side of the panel (Figure 25).
− Insert the shutter opener as far as it
will go. This will move the shutter
operating lever to the other end
position (Figure 26), and open the
shutters. The upper and lower Shutter opener Cup-type bushings with Shutters for upper
mating contacts for the upper mating contacts mating contacts
withdrawable section are accessible.

DANGER
If the busbar was not
isolated, the mating
contacts will be live with
operating voltage (in
outgoing feeder panels, the
upper contacts, and in
incoming feeder panels, the
lower contacts)!

− Use high-voltage detector according

to DIN VDE 0681.
