children of group B of Persada Kindergarten, consisting of 9
boys and 11 girls. The method of data collection is carried out
through observation and documentation. Data analysis
techniques are carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner.
Social emotional improvement is said to be successful if 15 out
of 20 children fall into the criteria of developing very well.
This research uses a type of qualitative descriptive research,
which aims to objectively describe the situation at the place of
research using a series of words or sentences, with the subject
of research 1 teacher and 15 children in Al-Hidayah Islamic
Kindergarten Bandar Lampung. The data collection tools that
the authors use are observation, interviews and documentation.
Based on the research, the author can conclude that teachers
have applied the steps in children's exploration activities in
accordance with the theory they understand, and from the steps
of exploration play activities with used newspaper media in
developing the creativity of children aged 5-6 years at Tunas
Harpan Merbau Kindergarten, Mataram, South Lampung, it is
said that some of these steps are not used when conducting pre-
research, but after the author conducts The study successfully
used the steps of exploration play with old newspaper media in
developing creativity even though sometimes there is one step
that is not used. However, the researchers got a good ending
even though the results were that 60% of children developed as
expected. And the steps above are in accordance with the
indicators of achievement of creativity development of children
aged 5-6 years put forward by Luluk Asmawati in PAUD
learning planning.
