    Subject: Invitation to the Celebration of National Children's Month 2024

    Dear District Supervisor Janoras:

    With the observation of the National Children's Month in November pursuant to


    Republic Act No. 10661, the Municipality will conduct a series of Information and Education
    Caravans (IECs) to children and their parents, and other related activities in Geographically-
    Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAs) in Barangay Port Barton and Caruray, and Sitio
    Macatumbalen, Barangay Poblacion Elementary Schools on the following:

    A. For Children:

     Rights and responsibilities of children emphasizing on right to life


     Mga Ligtas na Paghawak
     Medical and Dental Check-up

    B. For Parents:
     Family Planning;
     Lectures on Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC);
     Where and When to Report Crimes;
     Off-site Registration of births

    In line with this, may we request your support and permission to allow us to conduct
    these activities in the following schools with tentative schedules indicated hereunder:

    November 7, 2023 Pamuayan Elementary School


    November 8, 2023 Albaguen Elementary School
    November 14, 2023 Catalat Elementary School
    November 15, 2023 Sta. Cruz Elementary School
    November 22, 2023 Barongbong Elementary School
    November 23, 2023 Baybay Daraga Elementary School

    On November 17, 2023 at 9:00 in the morning, Mayor Amy Roa Alvarez will deliver
    the State of Children's Report to the students of Macatumbalen Elementary School. Thus,
    may we also request your good office to excuse students of the said school from their classes
    to attend the said activity
