The first day of my week always will be productive since I’m working part-time at Selangor Turf Club.
But this Sunday was very unusual for me and made me exhausted. It’s because I had to celebrate
Pongal early in the morning and then move to work. It was quite strange because I’ll celebrate the
Pongal festival with my family throughout the whole day but this is quite strange. I was grateful that I
could spend at least a few hours with my family. After celebrating Pongal, I brought a few of them to
my workplace and shared with them and all of them were on cloud nine. After dinner, I received a
missed video call from my long-lost friend! I was excited and called her back and we were talking for
a few hours. We had the same vibe and she’ll remain my favourite friend. It was a great night.
The following day was my class. The first class of the day was fine, but it was too hard to handle the
cold. I gained some experience to write a personal statement of myself and that’s where I discovered
the process of writing a personal statement. Then, we took some 20 minutes break then we moved
to the next class. The next class always would be one of my favourite classes which is QM 2. That
class is guaranteed for fun and my stressbuster as well. Although the subject contains Add Maths and
Maths I don’t find it as a burden for me since the way Miss Aida teaches is smooth like butter and as
easy as ABC. Consequently, after the class, I reached back home and took a power nap. Later, I
finished all the pending tasks and had dinner with my fam. Watching movies at night is one of my
favourite activities. That’s the time I could spend with my fam. It was a great movie and enjoyed it.
I’ll consider this day one of the most favourite days since we celebrated Pongal at the college. Before
that, I had to wear traditional attire on that day. It was so sophisticated and was sweating heavily
while traveling to college. Once I reached the class, I just sat at my place like a statue so that I could
get some air. Later on, my friends arrived, and we were discussing the Pongal tradition. We were
quite excited about the event. One hour later we joined the event, and we could just spend 30
minutes since our lecturer gave permission till that duration. During break time, I was expecting to
get some Pongal but it turned out to be the opposite, and was quite disappointed. To boost my
mood, I just got some delicious lunch from the vegetarian shop then we continued attending classes
which is Economics. The subject was quite interesting and gained some knowledge of business
terms. Although it was a happy day, there was a small disappointment in it. It can be a bad day but
not a bad life.
