Nowadays more and more people consume fast food on a regular basis. What are the
advantages and disadvantages of this trend?

B1

We must say that fast food is becoming more and more popular in our life. Many people
like to eat fast food. However, it has both advantages and disadvantages.

On the one hand, fast food is good for people. It brings them some benefits. It is
convenient because they can buy it anywhere at any time. They can buy on the way or
they can stay at home and order the food. They do not have to go out to buy. Besides,
fast food is time-saving. They can save time for going to the market to buy food, cooking
the food and washing a lot of things. This is good for busy people because they do not
have time to cook the food. In addition, fast food is delicious because it is prepared by
good cooks.

On the other hand, however, fast food is not good for people. It is harmful to people’s
health. It can cause some health problems such as cancer, heart disease, being
overweight. This is because fast food has fat and sugar which can destroy people’s health.
Moreover, fast food is expensive. Furthermore, fast food makes people become lazy.
Some people eat fast food too often and some people do not want to learn how to cook.

To sum up, fast food has both benefits and drawbacks. People can eat fast food when
they are busy but not too often. They should limit fast food as they are not good for their
health.

B2

Fast food, or junk food like pizzas, hamburgers, sandwiches or chips is a kind of food that
is prepared and served quickly. It is the fact that fast food is becoming more and more
popular in our life. An increasing number of people like to eat fast food. However, it has
both benefits and drawbacks.

On the one hand, fast food is beneficial for people. It brings them some positive effects.
We cannot deny that fast food is convenient due to the fact that they can buy it anywhere
at any time. They can buy on the way or they can stay at home, order the food and wait
for it to be delivered. They do not have to go out in bad weather or traffic jams to buy.
Besides, fast food is time-saving as they can save time for doing some shopping, cooking
the food and doing the washing-up after the meals. This is ideal for working people
because they are too busy with their work and do not have time to prepare the meals. In
addition, fast food is delicious because it is prepared by the best cooks with perfect recipe
and attractive wrapper.

On the other hand, however, fast food is not good for people. A lot of research or studies
indicates that it is harmful to people’s health. It can directly cause some health problems
such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes and so on. It is true that fast food is the leading
cause of obesity. This is because fast food contains a lot of fat and sugar which can
destroy people’s health while providing little or no nutrition. Moreover, fast food is
expensive and waste a lot of money if people buy it often. Furthermore, fast food makes
people become lazy. Some people eat fast food too often and some people refuse to learn
how to cook.

To sum up, fast food has both benefits and limitations. People can eat fast food when
they are busy but not too often. Therefore, it is wise to limit the amount of fast food they
eat every day.

for staying single is that they have not met the right person. Others say that marriage
involves too much commitment and responsibility, or that they prefer the single lifestyle.
