Je’daii Warrior

Before there were Jedi and Sith there were the first masters of the force, the Je’daii.
The Je’daii understand the balance of the force better than any Jedi or Sith ever could.
It is because of this understanding that they were able to harness the power of both the
light and the dark sides of the force. Much time has past since the Je’daii have walked
openly in the galaxy, but their teachings still exist in the whispered corners of the galaxy
only to be found by those who can accept that one half of the force can not exist without
the other.
Requirements
To qualify to become a Je’daii Warrior, a character must fulfill the following criteria.

Class Features
The following are features of the Je’daii Warrior prestige class.
Starting Feats
Armor Proficiency (Light)
Weapon Proficiency (Simple)
Force Weapon
The main tool of the Je’daii Warrior is their mind, but a close second is their weapon.
One of the first things that a Je’daii Warrior learns is to focus the living force both light
and dark through their body and into the weapon they wield. Unlike a Jedi’s lightsaber
At 1st level the Je’daii Warrior learns to channel the force into their melee weapon (ie a
club, a knife, or a sword). This must be a weapon that the Je’daii Warrior wields
personally. It takes a full round action to enchant the weapon with the force and cost 5
vitality points. The bonus that the weapon gains last for a number of turns equal to their
force user level (character level that have been taken in class that use the force ie. Jedi
Counselor, Sith Marauder, or Force Adept.
The bonus at 1st level provides the wielder a +1 to hit with the weapon and a +1d8 to
damage. At 5th level this bonus is increased to a +2 to hit and a +2d8 to damage and at
9th level the bonus increases to a +3 to hit and a +3d8 to damage. Any bonus that the
character has from a separate class to force based weapons (ie lightsabers) stacks with
this bonus.
Since this weapon is an embodiment of the living force lightsabers do not ignore their
damage reduction. This means that a Je’daii Warrior’s Force Weapon can block a
lightsaber if the Je’daii Warrior is channeling the Force through it. If not, it functions like
a normal weapon and will not withstand a strike form a lightsaber.
Balance of Ashla and Bogan
The focus of all Je’daii’s training is to seek the balance in the Force. The truest symbols
of the this of are the two moons of Typhon, Ashla and Bogan. Ashla is the
representation of the light and Bogan being of the dark. Though seeing the night sky
while seeing only one moon is beautiful, the majesty of the picture is incomplete without
both. The Je’daii see this to be nature of the Force. If one does not balance the light and
the dark the picture is incomplete.
At 2nd level the Je’daii starts to unlock the power of this balance within themselves. The
Je’daii no long receives a dark side point for using Force Skill or Feats that are labeled
as Dark Side.
Also, the character learns to control the balance of their action. Any time the Je’daii
would receive a light side or dark side point for their actions they can choose to resist
the change in their Force scale. To resist receiving the light or dark side point the
character must make a Will Save (DC 20). If the character fails the save the point is give
to the character as normal.
Deflect (Defense)
A Je’daii Warrior learns to deflect bolts and other projectiles with his/her Force Weapon,
thereby providing a dodge bonus to Defense against such attacks. The Je’daii Warrior
must have enhanced their weapon with the Force Weapon ability to use this special
ability.
Deflecting and attack is a reaction that costs the Je’daii Warrior a move action in his/her
next round. The Je’daii Warrior must indicate that he/she is using deflect (defense)
when an opponent declares an attack against him/her but before any attack rolls are
made. When used in this fashion, the Je’daii Warrior gains the dodge bonus against all
ranged attacks directed at him/her in the round.
Each time the Je’daii Warrior gains deflect [defense], it provides a +1 dodge bonus to
Defense when he/she uses his/her Force Weapon to block ranged attacks. So at 3 rd
level the dodge bonus is +1, at 9th level it increases to +2. These bonuses stack with
any deflect (defense) bonuses received from other classes.
Deflect (defense) can be used in conjunction with total defense for even greater
protection, providing the dodge bonus for deflecting the attack and the +4 dodge bonus
granted by using total defense. In this case, deflect [defense] is not a reaction; it is an
attack action used in a round when the Je’daii Warrior expects to come under heavy
fire.
Bonus Feats
At 4th and 8th level, the Je’daii Warrior gains a bonus feat. This feat must be selected
from the following list, and the Je’daii Warrior must meet any perquisites.
Acrobatic, Blind-Fighting, Power Attack, Quick Draw, Weapon Focus, Attuned, Focus,
Malevolent, Mettle, Morichro, Hatred, Greater Peaceful Fury*, Extended Peaceful Fury*.
*Greater Peaceful Fury – The bonus to Str and Dex are increased to a +3, the bonus to
vitality is increase to +3, the bonus to Fort and Will saves are increase to +3.
*Extended Peaceful Fury – The duration of the character’s Peaceful Fury is increased to
10 + Constitution modifier.
Defense (Attack)
A Je’daii Warrior learns to deflect blaster bolts with his/her Force Weapon, redirecting
the attack toward a target within one range increment of the Je’daii Warrior’s position.
(The type of blaster determines the range increment). You must have enhanced the with
weapon with Force Weapon ability to use this special ability.
Deflecting and redirecting an attack is a reaction that cost the Je’daii Warrior a move
action in his/her next round. The Je’daii Warrior must indicate that he/she is using
deflect (attack) when an opponent declares an attack against him/her but before any
attack rolls are made. Deflect (defense) and deflect (attack) can be used together in the
same round (though the Je’daii Warrior can decide not to use the defense if he/she
wants a better chance of redirecting the incoming attack).
The Je’daii Warrior can deflect and redirect a number of attacks equal to one-half of
his/her Je’daii Warrior level, round down. The redirected attack must miss the Je’daii by
5 or less; any attack that hits the Je’daii Warrior or misses by 6 or more points cannot
be redirected.
If the Je’daii Warrior can redirect the attack, the Je’daii Warrior immediately rolls an
attack using his/her Force Weapon attack bonus and applying a -4 penalty as described
below. If this roll is high enough to hit the target, the redirected attack deals damage to
the target (the type of blaster determines the damage dealt by a redirected attack).
Each time the character gains deflect (attack) from any class, the penalty associated
with the redirect attack is lessened by 1.
Deflect (Extended Defense and Attack)
At 6th level, a Je’daii Warrior learns to extend his/her defensive and offensive deflection
skills to others within 2 meters of the Je’daii Warrior’s position. You must have
enhanced the with weapon with Force Weapon ability to use this special ability.
Now the Je’daii Warrior can provide a dodge bonus to anyone within 2 meters of his/her
position, and he/she can deflect and redirect ranged attacks made against anyone
within 2 meters of his/her position. All rules associated with deflect (defense) and deflect
(attack) apply; the only difference is that now the Jedi can extend this ability to help
those nearby.
Art of Peaceful Fury
At 7th level the Je’daii Warrior learns a battle ability that allows them to patterns in the
chaos of rage. The Je’daii Warrior maintains a peaceful center while the fury of his/her
anger swells around them. This fury temporally increases the Je’daii Warrior’s fighting
capabilities but leave them drained afterwards.
You temporarily gain a +2 to Strength and +2 to Dexterity, +2 vitality points per Je’daii
Warrior level, and +2 Force bonus to Fortitude and Will saves.
The Peaceful Fury last for a number of rounds equal to 5 + your Constitution modifier.
At the end of this duration, you lose the bonus vitality points and become unable to use
any Force skill, feats, or abilities and become fatigued (-2 penalty to effective Strength
and Dexterity, cannot run or charge) for a number of rounds equal to the duration of the
Peaceful Fury.
Of Two Worlds
Once the Je’daii Warrior has reached 10th level they have reach the pinnacle of
balancing oneself with both sides of the Force. Je’daii Warrior that obtain this level of
control of both the light and the dark side are considered masters of the Je’daii Warrior
order.
This ability unlocks the true power of neutral scale of the Force and doubles all bonuses
received from the Neutral section of the Force Scale. Therefore, if a character has a -2
Force Scale rating, they receive a +4 to all neutral based Force Skills and if they are
have a 0 rating on the Force Scale, they receive a +6 to all neutral based Force skills, 4
Force Points for leveling up and can spend 4 Force point once per encounter.
