Problem Statement

There is a need for a career dendrogram to better educate

people about their career options thus preventing them
from making in choosing their career.
INTRODUCTION

● Career goal specially choosing the appropriate career through monitoring

of the scope and trends in computer science and engineering job dimension
have been a prime need for all computer science undergraduate
youngsters.
● There is a trend amongst students to generally opt for career paths based
on either the choices of their colleagues or the highest salary paying roles.
● This will help them in improving their performance and motivating their
interests so that they will be directed towards their targeted career and get
settled in that.
Why the solution is better ?

cloud integration

Storage for faster access

Secure and reliable Career

Exploration

Personalized career
Recommendation Accessibility
Addressing edge case scenario in the ML Models

● Like the cases of 0 and 100

Which was cured by careful thoughts and debugging.
● The case of Outlier values.
Which brought the accuracy from 58% to 70%
● Handling of the null values.
Done by inbuilt functions provided by the python library
Data
Data Gathering

Data Wrangling Model Training

Visualization Preprocessing Data splitting Model Training

Hypothesis Testing
Web Site
Tools and Library
Guided Paths
And finally we cured the caveats from
the Web Site.

● Making the website free of small mistakes

i.e. not accepting the wrong format data.
● Made the edge cases robust and leak proof
The edge cases were handled by care and much more thought than
before.
● Made the homepage and education/about page separate.
The details regarding career were directed towards the about
page.
MERN Stack:-

MERN stands for MongoDB, Express, React, Node, after the four key
technologies that make up the stack.

● MongoDB — document database

● Express(.js) — Node.js web framework
● React(.js) — a client-side JavaScript framework
● Node(.js) — the premier JavaScript web server
MERN STACK ARCHITECTURE
Datasets:-

● The existing papers have made an

attempt to explore dynamic data set
and apply data mining based methods
to gain student’s insights based on
characteristics related to academic,
technical and interpersonal factors.
● In these papers have used machine
learning techniques such as SVM,
Decision tree, KNN, amongst these
algorithm SVM is proven to give the
best accuracy.
Conclusion
● Lack of guidance in career selection makes life regretful.
● In order to make this process hassle-free and simple,we have
come up with a solution that allows anybody to choose a career
path that is inclined with their passion and area of interest
● The developed portal help in choosing a career and also gives
insights on the career opportunities and roadmaps that can be
utilized for the betterment of an individual.
