    The importance of Mastering English

    Assalamualaikum Wr.Wb
    Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen
    The honorable all of juries
    The honorable all of my teachers
    And all my beloved friends.

    First of all, I will gives thanks for Almighty Allah SWT for the gracious mercy and grace, so we can meet
    together in this blessing place. And I also don’t forget to deliver Sholawat and Salam to our prophet
    Muhammad SAW, Who has brought us from the darkness to the brightness, so we are always in right way.
    Secondly, before I begin my speech, I would like to introduce myself. My name is ________I am as the
    representative of all fifth grade students of ________Elementary school.
    In this good occasion, I would like to give a speech about the Importance Of Mastering English.
    I think everyone here know that why we have to learn English. We have to learn English as a lesson at school
    but beside that we also learn English because we need it.

    Ladies and gentlemen


    English is an International Language. Because this language is very universal and used for communicate among
    people around the world. English is the window to acquire knowledge. As we know, a lot of book, like
    Ensiklopedia, discoveries,and inventions are written and published in English. We will not be separated from
    the English language, because this language can exist everywhere like, on the computer, the internet, even in
    mobile phone. From this statement we can know that English is exactly beneficial for our life.

    Ladies and gentlemen


    There is a saying, “If you can speak English, you will be able to control the world so easily”. However, there
    are still many people who can’t speak English. The main reason is they are lazy to learn English because it’s
    not used in their daily activities.
    Meanwhile, need to know that mastering English is very important. Why? Because English allow to develop
    and interact as social beings. In this case, developing means to follow the modern era of globalization and
    compete success as a student. And also, in this case the interaction is where we can communicate with other
    people around the world. That’s means mastering English is very important for us.
    We realize that, study English is difficult, however we must can do it! Therefore, from now, don’t be lazy to
    learn English! By trying and trying. We can learn English by practice consistently and inevitably. So we will
    have the capacity to talk well.
    I think that’s all of my speech and if there had been mistakes on it, I beg your pardon. Thank you very
    much for your nice attention.
