5 ONLY REQUIRED, IF MASTER GEAR HAS NO DRIVER GROOVE N/A

RWZXG-14/18-MI-RS
DRIVE MECHANISM 14/18-mi-rs (STANDARD REDUCING SLEEVE FOR MASTER Required for
GEARS WITHOUT DRIVER GROOVE) each bore-
 Single-end mounting and driving of gears (usually master gears) with a bore Ø > Ø of the
12mm master gear
 It consists of a reducing sleeve with an internal diameter incl. driver groove on the
lower plane face and a knurled clamping nut at the top to clamp the gear
 The gear is clamped between nut and shoulder  considerable amount of runout
error on large diameters possible due to undefined clamping position of the gear in
radial direction. The sleeve (and not the gear) rotates about the cylindrical mandrel.
 A driver groove is not required at the master gear!
 Bore diameters from different gears are reduced to a single (unified) bore diameter
with the help of the STANDARD REDUCING SLEEVE
 Internal Ø / bore Ø of the reducing sleeve = 10mm! (i.e. the reducing sleeve reduces
the bore diameter of the wheel to 10 mm as standard (= outside diameter of the static
mandrel  CYLINDRICAL MOUNTING MANDREL 18-zd-ms))
 External diameter of the reducing sleeve = bore diameter of the wheel! External
dimensions of the reducing sleeve are either individually adapted to customer
requirements, depend on the master gear or are to be specified by the customer

Control and Evaluation:
Item Description
Motor Control and Measurement Evaluation by means of FGI PRO (evaluation of radial composite error
(Fi"), tooth-to-tooth composite deviation (fi"), runout deviation (Fr") etc. using software)
10 RWZXE-FGI-PRO
FGI PRO (complete package)
Software evaluation consists of:
 19“ FRENCO measuring electronics MEG32 (CPU stot card, two channel
measuring/counter slot card and motor slot card in 19“ case)
 PC card integrated into 19“ FRENCO MEG32 electronics enclosure (operating
system: WINDOWS® 10 Pro); incl. keyboard and mouse (PC with USB2/3 interface)
 FRENCO - Rolling Inspection Software (FGI  FRENCO Gear Inspector) to evaluate
the basic parameters of the double flank gear rolling inspection Fr“, Fi“ and fi“
Examples of other useful standard FGI features and characteristics:
- Comfortable setting dialog with text and pictures
- Automatic approach and positioning of damaged features after measuring (features
can be selected)
- Approach and positioning of any chosen points within the evaluation graphs by right-
clicking the mouse on the respective point on the graph
- QS-STAT standard interface (Export) for statistical evaluation software (Q-DAS)
- XCNOS interface for statistical evaluation software (Böhme & Weiß)
- Language selection: German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Polish,
Hungarian Czech, Russian, Romanian and Chinese
- Storage of all inspection records
Each inspection and each belonging inspection plan is saved in a separate file and
can be viewed anytime via the FGI software browser and printed via the printer
interface.
- Drag & drop function for MICROSOFT EXCEL®
Drag & drop function to drag X/Y values of a graphics table into MICROSOFT
EXCEL® using the mouse. 2 columns are automatically created in Excel and the X/Y
values are inserted into the respective table.
- Measurement of gear segments
- Determination of the center distance Aa (calibration with setting master is required);
output of the average, min. and max value
- Calculation of circumferential backlash Jt using the respective center distance Aa
(calibration with setting master is required); output of the average, min. and max
value
- Calculation of tooth thickness Sn using the respective center distance Aa (calibration
with setting master is required); output of the average, min. and max value
- Calculation of the dimension over/between measuring balls M dK or measuring pins
Mdr using the respective center distance Aa (calibration with setting master is
required); output of the average, min. and max value
- Calculation and output of Cp und Cpk (by default after QS9000)
 disconnectable output statistic in the measurement menu!
- Takeover of a calibration (calibrated actual value) for measurements with identical
calibration setpoint values in different inspection plans.
Inspection plans with identical calibration setpoints are automatically detected! After
changing an inspection plan a query is made to determine whether the calibrated
actual value is to be accepted. It is therefore not necessary to calibrate individually
for each measurement!
- Simultaneous representation of 4 graphics
- Single curves are displayed in case of several revolutions

- Support of unsymmetrical tolerances

- In case of calibration with a fixed setting master, the rocked minimum calibration
value size is taken over
- Controllable input and output at MEG 32
To, e.g., control a marking system for rejected workpieces.
- Automatic master error correction (requirement: coprime gear ratio between master
gear and workpiece  each tooth of the workpiece must contact each tooth of the
master gear once during the error detection). This method does not require any
additional measures to be taken at the device or the master gear. It is, however,
relatively time-consuming as the error detection is carried out before each
measurement. The position of the master gear is hence known during the
subsequent measurement.
- Averaging master error correction (requirement: no integer gear ratio between
master gear and workpiece). Averaging of a defined, freely selectable number of
measurements. Due to the requirement mentioned above, only the errors of the
master gear are “averaged” and not those of the workpiece, as errors of the
workpiece will always occur at the same position in the diagram during a full rotation.
The errors of the master gear on the other hand will shift between one measurement
to the next.
- and many more features
 22" TFT flat screen monitor
 Additional Ethernet Switch plug-in module to connect to external (company) networks

11 RWZXX-MES
MEASURING PROBE
 High-quality digital Heidenhain measuring probe (1Vss)
