Gratitude Words

I know that words are supposed to be my thing, but I will never be able to find the
words to thank my mom and dad, for the sacrifices they made every day. To all the
incredible parents, family members, mentors teachers, allies, friends, and loved ones here
today, who have supported these students in their pursuit of achievement.

Today is a day of immense significance in our lives. It marks the culmination of

years of hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our education. As we
gather here, we have the unique opportunity to express our gratitude to the people who have
been instrumental in our journey-our school, its authorities, professors, and our families.

First and foremost, I want to express our profound gratitude to our school and its
administration for providing us with the platform and resources to pursue our dreams. This
institution has been a second home, a place of growth, learning, and personal development.
The guidance, support, and opportunities offered here have been invaluable in shaping us
into the individuals we are today. We will forever cherish the memories created within these
walls.

Our families, our steadfast supporters, deserve a special place in our hearts and our
speeches. Your love, sacrifice, and unwavering encouragement have been the wind beneath
our wings. You've been there through every assignment, every exam, every high and low.
You've cheered for us, wiped our tears, and celebrated our triumphs. Today's success is as
much yours as it is ours.

Not a single one of us here today has done it alone. We are each a patchwork quilt of
those who have loved us, those who have believed in our futures, those who showed us
empathy and kindness or told us the truth, even when it wasn't easy to hear. Those who told
us we could do it when there was absolutely no proof of that. Someone read stories to you
and taught you to dream and offered up some moral code of right and wrong for you to try
and live by.

Someone, tried their best to explain every concept in this insanely complex world,
to the child that was you, as you asked a bazillion questions, like how does the moon work?
and why can we eat salad, but not grass? And maybe they didn't do it perfectly, no one ever
can. Maybe they aren't with us anymore, in that case, I hope you'll remember them today. If
they are in this place, I hope you'll find your own way to express your gratitude for all the
steps and missteps that have led us to this common destination.
I was not supposed to give you words today, but I couldn’t miss this opportunity,
and maybe my last time to tell you what’s on my heart, but I've never been an expert on
giving advices, and I won’t. But I'm the one who's up here, so you must listen to me when I
say this, never be ashamed of trying. The scary news is you're on your own now, but the
cool news is, you're on your own now. And as long as we are fortunate enough to be
breathing, we will breathe in, breathe through, breathe deep, breathe out. And I’m
going to spend six years in medicine, so I know how breathing work.

Thankyou school authorities and families and cellos graduates May our future be as
bright as the promises we hold behind.
