Enhancement of English Speaking

Skills of BSEDEN Students in
Polytechnic University of the

1. Why should we conduct this study?

Songs are usually short and are very short texts

but contain a lot of meaning. This makes the
lyrics ideal for foreign language acquisition. By
using rhythms of favorite songs, the learners
might have much better pronunciation, that is,
they would find it enjoyable to learn a new
language, easier to remember (Chung, et al., n.d.)
1. Why should we conduct this study?

According to Richard and Renandya (2002),

developing speaking skills is crucial for those
who are learning a second language. To
become accomplished in life and engage with
diverse individuals globally, students must
acquire the ability to communicate proficiently.
