    SOP Sample Workshop

    Being brought up in a town in the state of XXXXX, I always aspired to be successful and become a
    valuable asset for the society. In the pursuit of excellence, I enrolled myself in the premier institute of
    education, XXXXXX. I was definite that entering an institute whose academic culture is viewed with awe
    around the country will hone my intellect and provide me with holistic development. Having spent
    three of my life’s formative years in the well structured field of chemistry, seeking admission to a field
    that demands rigorous brain storming and unbound creative skills seems like a huge transition and a
    fascinating one at that.

    The uniqueness of a course in management and business administration lies, not in what it teaches, but
    in the way it will enhance my capabilities to understand things in a better way. My enthusiasm for
    garnering the practical skills of effective strategy formations, smooth decision making and influential
    communication is what drives me to this field of education. For my potential to be noticed by the giants
    of any sector, I need an extensive grooming that a course like this provides.

    Having acquired the knowledge of painting and sketching, my brain has become quite inclined towards
    creative projects and innovative tasks, a quality I believe is essential for someone willing to make a stand
    in the business world. My experience with the debating society at St Stephens College as a participant in
    inter college competitions and as the member of the organizing committee of Mukerji Memorial
    Debating tournament our annual debating tournament that witnesses participation from many colleges
    of India and abroad has helped me to augment my communication skills that assist me to find my way
    around confidently and effectively. Moreover I have attained the discipline that is an essential pre
    requisite to excel in ant field, from my short experience as a tennis player. It has taught me to endlessly
    strive towards perfection without being disheartened by failure .My experience in the Indian
    choreography society both as a participant and as a member of the organization committee of various
    event including Raqs Utsav has been instrumental developing in me the stamina for hard work and a
    tendency to carry myself with elegance and tackle problems with a sense of responsibility. It has taught
    me the importance of team work and has also helped me to overcome my weakness of getting quick
    results.

    Doing an MBA will give me an in-depth knowledge of the things happening around me and will greatly
    shape my education and will help me to evolve as a better human and create an impact in whichever
    way possible. Brought up in a society that witnesses economic disparity among the rich and the poor
    due to unemployment I would try my best to employ my knowledge to solve this problem of the society
    . Generating employment is not only possible through entrepreneurship; with proper knowledge and
    dedication even working in a firm will help the firm to prosper resulting in expansion of the firm,
    creating employment, helping the society in a small way to overcome such problems. Needless to say,
    your esteemed institution will act as an essential catalyst for the same.

    A degree in masters in business administration from this reputed institution will allow me to get an
    aerial view of the business world and augment my multi tasking abilities which as of now, are on the
    developmental stage.
