    • Known for various cottage industries like furniture making,

    cloth weaving, pottery making, wood carving and

    • The “Burnay Industry” (Pottery business) in Vigan is a

    popular cottage industry.
    • The early Chinese settlers introduced the burnay, which
    serves as an all-weather container of local products that were
    shipped to China and other Asian kingdoms.

    • In Cagayan valley, dried bananas
    petioles are used as weaving
    materials.

    • Are used as storage for food and
    hunting.

    as materials in this craft.

    folks created ceramic jars to keep
    the remains of their dead relative
