Company name: Headspace. Jaz

Headspace. Jaz is a company that aims to provide effective and innovative services in the
mental health and fitness sector. It started on the 12th of May 2023 and it is under the Junior
Achievement Zimbabwe organisation. Our mission is to revolutionize mental health by
integrating innovative technologies and compassionate care. To empower individuals to
achieve emotional well-being and unlock their full potential through accessible, evidence-based
solutions. We aim to reduce stigma and catalyse positive change in the lives of
individuals and communities worldwide, creating a future where mental health thrives and
everyone can live a life of dignity, resilience, and fulfilment.
Our vision is unleashing potential and transforming futures and we have a talented and
the dedicated team of the board of directors.
We are developing our product portfolio to include a service-providing app for mental health
which is the Echo application. This aims to address the unmet customer needs in the mental
health and fitness field. We also have some projects running which include the profit-making
projects (tuckshop project) and the CSR projects. For us to be able to fund all these projects,
we made sure that all the company members bought shares to become shareholders. With
this lump sum amount of capital, we were able to start all the projects that I have previously
stated.

Although the social media channels are regularly updated with relevant content, the level of

Financial Report for HeadSpace Company

This comprehensive report regarding the recent sale of company shares conducted by Headspace
Company Finance Manager aims to provide an overview of the financial performance including break
even analysis, capitalisation, total units sold, revenue generated and financial accounts.
The Headspace Company acquired its start-up money through selling the company shares to the
company members. The primary objective of selling company shares was to generate capital for funding
strategic expansion initiatives, meet operational requirements, and strengthen the financial position of
Headspace Company. Each share was going for $2 and every member managed to invest in the
company. The table below is going to give more information of who invested and how much they have
paid.
The Headspace Company managed to raise a total of $ 152.00 capital adding to an amount of 76 shares
bought by the shareholders. The company’s money is safeguarded by Ms Primrose who is Star
Leadership Academy’s accountant for security reasons.
Besides the ECHO application Headspace Company also operates a project of selling candy and freezits.

The main reason for the execution of a candy and freezits project is that it enabled us to raise enough
money to pay for the application deployment and avoid using the money from our shares therefore
countering the loss that comes with doing so.
As of 31 September 2023 the Headspace Company has assets equating up to $81.00 including two
sewing machines and cash in the bank of $11. The company has no liabilities and a total of l$163.00
equity.
For the year ended 31 September 2023, Headspace company generated $66.00 through selling candy
and freezits. $55 was then deducted for our application deployment. The company raised $152 from
issuing stock to investors who bought shares in the company. The expenses of the share amounted $55
which was the application deployment. After deducting all expenses the company has $11 profit.

 Promise Mufari: CEO and co-founder. He is responsible for setting the overall direction and

 Jenny Grazia MIZERO: HR Manager. She is responsible for managing the human resources
functions of the company, such as hiring, training, performance evaluation, and employee

the company. She was identified as the HR Manager by the co-founders based on her impressive
emotional intelligence and the love that she cares for the people around her.
 Calvin Dube: Marketing Manager and co-founder. He is responsible for developing and executing

relations. He is a strategic leader who analyses market trends and customer needs and
creates effective campaigns to promote the app. He was identified as the Marketing Manager by
the co-founders based on his experience in digital marketing and his coding abilities.
 Blessful Zvinzveku: Production Manager. She is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects

who uses her analytical skills to always come up with brilliant new ideas. She was identified as
the production Manager by the co-founders based on her skills of solving complex problems.
 Patience Tariro Mungwari: Finance Manager. She is responsible for managing the financial
operations of the company, such as budgeting, accounting, reporting, and fundraising. She is a
prudent leader who monitors the financial performance and risks of the company and ensures its
sustainability and growth. She was identified as the Finance Manager by the co-founders based
on her good grades in accounting and her experience in working in Tuck Shops.
