INTRODUCTION

Spear Motors Limited is located in Nakawa, Kampala.it is

an automobile workshop that offers a variety of services
ranging from sales to service and repair of automobiles
During my Industrial training, I was taught how to
troubleshoot different vehicle faults and how fix them as
well plus also learning how to service different parts and
the whole vehicle as well. The mechanics in the workshop
were very friendly, providing a good learning
environment. They also corrected us on every mistake
made and taught us more about the dynamics of

automobiles during the workshop.

During my industrial training I worked with four
sections, MERCEDES BENZ,
The training took four weeks each week delegated to one
section, interchanging with class work activities

CHALLENGES

There are a number of inconveniences which I faced during

my training session. These challenges were both from within
and outside the main spear motors main workshop and these
a summarized as follows;
I faced a problem of transport cost; at times I missed some
training sessions because I didn’t have enough money to use.
At times trainers would take trainees as a by the way. We
would be denied to do some things which were practical.
Some trainers were unapproachable and tough to work with,
This was difficult during the training session.
