1. Anika had some chores to complete before she could go out with her friends. She spent 4
of an hour vacuuming, 21 an hour dusting and 16 of an hour feeding the guinea pigs.

How long did she spend doing her chores?

2. Markus was surveying the colour of cars that drove past the school gate. He counted 24
cars. 81 of the cars were red, 26 of the cars were silver, 124 of the cars were black
and 245 were blue.

How many cars of each colour were there?

3. Mr Sua loved to grow flowers in his garden. He planted a mixed seed pack to see what
would grow in spring. He had 6 petunias, 4 dahlias, 8 daffodils, 2 carnations, 5 roses
and 5 gerberas.

complete her maths homework and 56 of an hour to complete her social studies homework.
