Product (1)

- Keychron Q2

We’ve tested over 200 keyboards and found the best keyboard
for typing for most people is the Keychron Q2, with its high-
quality aluminum case and excellent typing experience out of
the box. It also has a compact size which hits a sweet spot
between space-saving and utility without feeling cramped.
While it lacks a Numpad, it keeps the arrow keys and several
important navigational keys, like ‘Home’ and ‘Insert’, which
may be keys you rely on for your workflow

Product (2)

- NuPhy Halo96

If the price tag and the customization factors of the

Keychron Q2 don’t appeal to you, we recommend the NuPhy
Halo96, one of the models in NuPhy’s Halo lineup. We’ve
highlighted the largest 96% size option here that features
nearly all of the keys of a standard full-size keyboard
(including a Numpad) but in a slightly more compact
package without spacing between key clusters. If you don’t
need a Numpad, the (75%) and (65%) variants of this
keyboard offer the same features and excellent typing
quality as the larger version, but in a smaller package—
they’re typically a bit less expensive, too.

- Logitech MX keys S

At a mid-range price point, we recommend the Logitech MX

Keys S. While the above picks are mechanical keyboards, the
MX Keys S goes back to basics. It uses scissor switches—
typically found in laptop keyboards—making this a familiar-
feeling option for most. This straightforward model has a
sleek dark grey and black aesthetic that looks professional in
any setup. It also has white-only backlighting you can set to
automatically adjust to the lighting around you, making the
legends on keys easy to read in all conditions.

Product (4)

- ROYAL KLUDGE RK61

Of all the budget keyboards we’ve tested, the ROYAL

KLUDGE RK61 takes the crown. This little unit is portable
thanks to its compact design and lightweight plastic build.
Its small footprint clears up space on your desk for keeping
your water bottle, coffee mug, phone, and whatever else
you need for your workflow right where you need them. This
unit also has excellent wireless versatility. It connects with

3
up to three devices at once using Bluetooth, or you can get
a variant that includes a USB receiver, which is great if you
tend to work in areas with a lot of Bluetooth noise, like an
office or a co-working space. The battery life isn’t excellent,
but it promises around 10 hours of active use, and you can
always continue to use it while it charges with a standard
wired connection.

Product (5)

- Logitech K380

You can still find a good unit even if your budget is tight.
The best cheap typing keyboard that we’ve tested is the
Logitech K380. This little unit is very popular among
students and on-the-go professionals who need a light,
portable keyboard to slide into a laptop bag or toss into a
backpack. It comes in several colors, including a newly
released Blueberry option, so you don’t have to limit yourself
to the classic grey and black offerings that are the default of
cheap units.

Licence and permissions required to start
an keyboard manufacturing company
Under the Ministry of Communications and Information
Technology, the Wireless Planning & Coordination (WPC)
division was established in 1952. In addition to licensing
wireless stations in the country under the Indian Telegraph Act
1885 and the Indian Wireless Telegraphy Act 1933, WPC
serves as the Government of India’s apex regulatory body for
national radio. It is responsible for managing, planning, and
regulating the available resources of the Radio Frequency (RF)
spectrum and other connected satellite orbits, which shall
include geostationary satellite orbit. Additionally, it facilitates
licensing and other management tasks for both public and
private wireless users.

The WPC issues licenses for various wireless communication

devices, including mobile phones, wireless speakers, Wi-Fi
routers, etc. The list of companies that have obtained WPC
licenses is extensive and continually changing as new
companies enter the market and existing ones renew or modify
their licenses.

5
To get the most current and accurate information about
companies that have obtained WPC licenses in India, we
recommend checking the official website of the Department of
Telecommunications (DoT) in India or directly contacting the
Wireless Planning & Coordination Wing for the latest updates.

Requirements for eligibility prior to applying for WPC

Certification:

• The producers and importers : Before selling their goods

into the Indian market needs wpc certification , importers
and makers of goods with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
characteristics must obtain WPC approval and the
Certificate of Import authorization.
• Official Representative : If the applicant is a foreign
business, it must select a licensed representative in India
for WPC approval. The company that will act as the
foreign company’s representative in processing the filing
with regard to WPC approval in India will be the
authorized representative.
• Results of Frequency : The frequency result of the
particular wireless item must absolutely appear in the

6
outcomes. Specification of the resolution bandwidth, video
bandwidth, frequency, and sweep is necessary for each
result.
• Information report from ISO Labs : If the product is
manufactured domestically, there is no requirement for
any kind of specific in-country testing. The only necessary
need is a special RF (Radio Frequency) report, which must
be obtained from an ISO/IEC 17025-approved laboratory.
• De-licensed Frequency Bands Are Necessary : In order for
all devices to function on specific de-licensed frequency
bands, they must be capable of doing so. All devices with
wireless capabilities must meet this criteria.
• Tech Data Sheet : The applicant must be prepared to
present the technical data sheet, which is accessible upon
request from the relevant authority.
• An authorization/agreement letter for international
manufacturing : This letter is required and serves as
authorization for all contracts to be entered into with the
DoT; these contracts only apply to foreign manufacturers.
The letter or document can only be obtained by making a
request to the appropriate authority.

What kind of approvals has the WPC given?

7
The following are only a few of the approvals that WPC grants:

- Equipment Type Approval (ETA): ETA is issued to ensure

that radio and wireless communication devices meet the
technical standards and specifications set by WPC.
Manufacturers and suppliers of such equipment need to
obtain ETA before selling or importing them into the
Indian market. It ensures that the devices comply with the
prescribed norms and do not cause interference with other
wireless communication systems.
- Type Approval: Type Approval is similar to ETA but is
issued to specific models or types of radio equipment. It
certifies that a particular model of equipment complies
with WPC’s technical requirements and standards.
Manufacturers must obtain Type Approval for each variant
of the equipment they intend to sell or use in India.
- Experimental Approval: Experimental Approval is granted
for conducting experiments or trials with radio equipment
or wireless technologies. Research organizations,
educational institutions, and other entities conducting
experiments in the field of wireless communication need
to obtain this approval to operate the equipment legally
during their research and development activities.

8
- Dealer and non-Dealer Possession Licenses (DPL and
NDPL): DPL and NDPL are licenses issued to dealers and
non-dealers of radio equipment, respectively. Dealers who
wish to trade in wireless devices and non-dealers who
want to possess such equipment for their own use need to
obtain these licenses to comply with WPC regulations.
- Import Licenses for Radio Equipment: Any entity intending
to import radio equipment into India needs to obtain an
import license from WPC. The license ensures that the
imported equipment adheres to the required technical
standards and is permissible for use in the country.

Keyboard size and range

Although some early organs had very wide keys that could be
played only with the fists, stringed keyboard instruments seem
always to have had natural keys no more than an inch wide,
yielding an octave span of 7 inches (17.8 centimetres). The
octave span on the modern piano is about 6 ½ inches (16.5
centimetres), much the same as on Flemish and Italian
harpsichords of the 16th–18th centuries, whereas that of English
keyboards was generally 6 3/8 inches (16.2 centimetres). On
most French and German instruments of the 18th century, the
octave span was even narrower (6 ¼ inches [15.9

11
centimetres]), permitting the playing of tenths—such as C to
the second E above—by a hand of average size.

The range of the keyboard gradually expanded from a single

octave for some early organs to 2 ½ or 3 octaves in the 15th
century and 4 or 4 ½ octaves in the 16th century. By the early
18th century, except in Italy and Spain, a range of five octaves
was common: from the F below low C to the F above high C
(F′ to f‴). This range began to be expanded only at the very
end of the century, usually upward toward c″″ (C above high
C) but occasionally downward to C′ (C below low C). A few
pianos with a range of six octaves (from C′ to c″″) were built
before 1800, and Beethoven’s Hammerclavier Sonata, Opus
106 (completed 1818), requires 6 ½ octaves from C′ to f″″. A
seven-octave range was reached before 1830, and the usual
modern piano keyboard consisting of 88 keys provides the only
slightly greater range of seven octaves and a third, from A″ to
c″″′.

Decisions related to warehousing

What is a Warehouse?
A warehouse is a place or a building used to store
products for stocking, packing, and shipping
preparation.

If you’re thinking about constructing a new

warehouse and going through the selection criteria
for choosing the best location for the building,
there are certain factors you must keep in mind.

20
Below are the factors that affect the construction of
your warehouse and need to be considered while
finalizing your warehouse location:

How To Take Warehouse Location Decisions?

Buying or renting a warehouse at a particular
location is a significant task directly proportional to
the business’s success. So, it would help if you
considered all the required criteria beforehand. The
site you select is the place most suited for the
company, which will benefit the eCommerce brand
directly.

This is a complex process, and any silly mistake

while choosing the location can lead to the failure
of the business. Certain factors must be considered
while making the monumental “warehouse location
decisions”. The most suitable places are those that

21
maintain an integral balance between convenience
and a reasonable price rate.

Warehouse Layout And Flow

The design of a warehouse is determined by the
type of operations to be conducted inside it.
Remember that old buildings are not very useful in
carrying out the material flow for any business.
Certain factors like ceiling height and column
spacing can restrict the type of equipment that can
be accommodated in the given space.

According to warehouse design standards, new

centers built in the last ten years or so are
designed to have clear spans between 24′ and 34′.
Larger, automated centers with narrow aisles and
picking systems are now built to 54′.

22
Improper design can hamper the inward flow of
raw materials and the outward flow of goods. This
means that the flow of products within the
warehouse must be formulated and identified
before the design is built. The operations within the
warehouse and the flow of goods will help
determine the final design.

So, before you decide on making a particular

building your warehouse, it is essential for you to
thoroughly determine whether the layout and
space will aptly fit your requirements or not.

Warehousing and storage make up 25% of the

largest employers of material moving machine
operators—by far the highest among any industry.
Your layout and design must be ergonomic to
prevent injuries and accidents. For instance, it must

23
not include uneven surfaces, unprotected edges in
racks and bins, etc.

Selling price
To wholesalers:-
The price set for the wholesalers would be
gradually high as they buy products in bulk
quantity and they distribute it to the further
resalers .

Ex. :- goods sold to wholesalers for 12,999 .

To retailers:-

buying capacity. Like if the retailer is financially
sound they can purchase goods in bulk or if they

Ways to promote the product

- Discount: Discounts are providing things lower

than the advertised price. For example,
consider a shoe company’s offer of ‘Discount Up
to 50%’ or a shirt marketer’s offer of ’50+40%
Discount’.

- Advertising: It is a promotional tool, where a

paid promotion is used for the sales promotion
of their product or services via different
channels. Promotion and advertising are the
essential components for the success of any
business. This tool affects the establishment of
any brand in the market, growth in the sales of
their products, etc.

26
- Publicity: Another tool of promotion is
publicity which enhances the visibility of your
business, thereby establishing a wide network
for your brand and product. Publicity can be of
two types: positive or negative. One of the
major points in publicity is that it involves
media channels where companies have the
least control over the content in comparison to
other tools. Apart from this, there are many
benefits of publicity, such as it is more
economical than advertising. Publicity includes
traditional news sources like newspapers and
modern news sources like blogs, vlogs,
websites, etc.

- Digital Marketing: This tool of promotion

helps in increasing sales promotion. Online
marketing is another name for digital

27
marketing. It is a method of connecting with
the potential buyer via the internet or other
digital communications methods. Web-based
advertising, social media like TikTok and
Facebook, email, SEO, text messages are other
examples of digital marketing.

- Sales Promotion: In the promotional tools,

the first and most effective tool in sales
promotion. In sales promotion, different and
effective techniques are used to increase the
sales of the company. Hoarding on the building
or shampoo-free samples at the mall are the
best examples of sales promotion. Sales
promotion uses different tools to increase
product sales. Some of the sales promotion
tools are the distribution of sample products

28
along with the other product, warranty of the
product, gifting coupons, etc.

UPS of my product

Effective and fast typing can be done using this

keyboard without and noise disturbance.

Means of transport for the product

The selection of the means of transport depends

upon many factors like quantity of goods
transported , purchase power of the owner , etc..

29
If the goods transported are bulky in quantity then
the most suitable source of transport would be
trucks or containers, if the quantity is less we can
use other means also but the safety of the product
is more important for any company to gain it’s
customers trust.

Cost effective technique for product

Reduce product design and architecture

costs

Since the design and development of the product

determine 80% of the production cost, you must
start here to reduce overall manufacturing costs.
The architecture of the product includes the
definition of the product, the composition of the

30
team, technology, and a combination of parts
including off-the-shelf parts. This phase also
determines the strategies for the manufacturing
supply chain, quality, service, vendors,
configurations, reliability, variety, and derivative
products. All these decisions have a very high
impact on cost reduction strategies. Some of the
top ways to reduce manufacturing costs include:

- Provide sufficient time and resources in the

planning stage to eliminate change orders
- Focus on vendor partnerships to build better
relationships.
- Design the products to minimize parts costs and
material overhead, without affecting the quality

Standardize parts to reduce manufacturing

costs

31
Parts standardization supports the fundamental
concept of mass customization and build-to-order
with all of the parts needed for manufacturing on
hand at all points of use. It eliminates setup that
involves finding, loading, and kitting parts.
Standardization reduces the number of part types
and makes it easier for parts to be included in the
production assembly. Fewer types of bulk ordered
parts reduce the overall parts and material
overhead costs. Additional benefits include
reduction of floor space, time saved in setup,
better logistics and supply chain management, and
reduced overhead costs.

Optimize workforce productivity

Investigate manufacturing workflow to identify

time-consuming and redundant processes. It is

32
important to break down the individual steps of the
production cycle, track the time taken by each
activity, and use specific equipment to perform
tasks. It helps to eliminate unnecessary processes
and enhances workforce productivity. Predictive or
preemptive machinery maintenance programs
should also be used to reduce downtime and
maximize efficiency.

Adopt lean manufacturing principles

The adoption of lean manufacturing principles can

significantly reduce the cost of manufacturing by
cutting the production through-put times,
increasing labor productivity, reducing inventories,
and eliminating errors and scrap. The core principle
of lean production is to achieve more output with
fewer inputs by focusing on the elimination of

33
waste. Waste is any activity that does not add
value from the perspective of customers.

According to research conducted by the Lean

Enterprise Research Center (LERC), over 60% of
the production activities in a manufacturing
operation are waste, as they do not add any value
to the customer. The good news is that every
manufacturer can leverage lean manufacturing
principles to reduce manufacturing costs. It is great
to identify types of waste and ways to eliminate
them. Some forms of waste are inventory, over-
production, transportation, waiting time, defects,
over-processing, and wasted talent.

Simplification of supply chain management

If various types of products or materials are used,

it’s impossible to achieve a steady production flow.

34
For the same reason, products should be designed
with standard parts. The rationalization strategy
can help in simplifying supply chain management
and establishing vendor partner relationships.

Rationalization also involves vendors within the

product designing process, enabling them to
recommend low-cost production items that are
readily available for use.
