characterized by the “V -shape” front grille.
Unique integrated headlamps, advanced side deflectors and
smooth high roof design outline a modern cab, derived from
the Iveco Stralis cabs, that ensures an outstanding aerodynamic
performance.

THE CAB
The driver’s cab is extremely comfortable: the design with low
engine hood creates a huge internal space with the maximum
height of the cabin (22 00mm), which allows the driver an easy
life on board, provides an ideal environment for moving around
and relaxing, night and day. Moreover, the large windscreen
allows optimum visibility, the steering wheel is fully adjustable
and all the controls can be easily identified and quickly reached
to allow safe control of the vehicle at all times.
MAINTENANCE
The functional arrangement of the components under the front
grille offers an easy everyday maintenance.
LATEST ELECTRONIC SYSTEM
Relying on years of development experience in Iveco and tested
solutions in the toughest conditions, the NEW 682 adopts a
multi-function display instrument cluster and the proven and
flexible CAN-BUS technology.

CHASSIS
The N EW 682 adopts an high tensile steel chassis that is available
in two ver sions:
Heavy: with a single high perfor ming chassis and par abolic
suspensions destined to missions where low kerbweight
is a key request.
Extra Heavy : with a double chassis (8+5 mm in tr actor
ver sion and 8+8 mm in chassis cab) combined with semi-
elliptic suspensions for the most demanding applications.
The chassis is completely flat and free from obstr uction and
gr ants maximum ease for bodybuilding activity.
To fur ther enhance its flexibility the NEW 682 is available ex-
factor y equipped, on request, with concrete mixer, tipper and
tanker.
DRIVELINE
All the NEW 682’s ver sions mount a top notch technology
synchronized 12-speed gearbox, available in overdr ive for tr actor
heads and direct dr ive for chassis cab.
The dr iveline is equipped with hub reduction on rear axles
for chassis cabs ver sion and both hub and single reduction for
tr actor heads.
