Notice Writing
A notice is an official communication, which announces or conveys some information. A notice is usually
affixed on the noticeboard by an organization or institution to announce an event, celebration or some
important information, etc.

Important Points
1. A notice is always written in a box.
2. It must be dated.
3. It should have the title, which is not a complete sentence.
4. It should always have the name, the designation and the signature of the issuing authority.
5. A notice is generally written in complete sentences but at time phrases are also acceptable.
6. As a notice usually announces an upcoming event/celebration, etc. so future time reference is used
while writing a notice.
7. A notice should have all the details related to the event. It must have an answer to what, when,
where, why, how.
8. The information should be presented accurately and concisely.
9. The language should be formal.

Dialogue Writing
Dialogue writing is an important part of English writing. Dialogue is basically a conversation between
two or more people. In fiction, it is a verbal conversation between two or more people. Sometimes it is
a self-talking dialogue, usually known as a Monologue.
In writing, dialogue shows a character speaking. It works to tell you more about the character and how
they converse with others or react. When it comes to dialogue, you might see two types: outer and inner
dialogue. Outer dialogue is when a character talks to another character in the story or play. Always use
the correct tense or the correct form of verb in dialogue writing. Use punctuation marks like full stop,
comma, interrogation and exclamation marks, dash and hyphen carefully and at proper places.
