Notice
1. Please make sure that all the required documents are still valid until the submission day (The validity is 3
months of its issuance).
5. In case the applicant has a representative to submit a visa application on his/her behalf, the power of attorney
(the embassy's form) must be provided with the representative's copy of passport or ID card.
* In case of using a visa agency, the visa agency's business registration must be provided.
6. In case the applicant received any assistance in completing the form or the required documents preparation
process, the assistant's personal details in the application form article 11 must be provided.
7. Duplicate visa applications are not allowed. The applicant must choose only one type of visas to apply.
8. The consul may require additional documents during the visa consideration process. In this case, the
processing time might be longer.
9. The embassy will not inform the visa result/status via phone. Please visit the Visa Portal website
(www.visa.go.kr) to check the visa result/status by yourself.

Additional Conditions for Visa Application
1. List of countries required to have a long-term non-immigrant visa (NOT tourist visa) and at least a 2-year-proof
of Thai visa or the certificate of permanent residence in Thailand in order to apply for a Korean visa at the Korean
Embassy in Thailand.
Bangladesh, China, Cuba, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Myanmar,
Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Philippine, Sri-Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Macedonia,
Kosovo, Cuba, Palestine, Iraq, Yemen, Afghanistan, Cameroon, Somalia, Gambia, Senegal
1.1 The applicants from the 34 nationalities above will be able to apply for a visa in Thailand if they are related to
the conditions below (The Thai long-term visa is still needed).
1.1.1 Those who possess a dependent family visa in Thailand (Thai parents, Thai children, or Thai spouses).
1.1.2 Those who possess a diplomatic visa in Thailand (The person who works for an international organization or
for those who are appointed to have a mission in Thailand that needs to be in charge of Korean connection and
communication).
2. List of countries required to submit a medical report on tuberculosis to apply for a Korean Long-term (over 90
days) visa at the Korean Embassy in Thailand.

3. Agreement (A-3)
This page is meants for applicants(including family) who are certified to be able to waive foreign registration in
accordance with the treaty with the Korean government such as SOFA, Fulbright and their families.

5. Short-term Visa (C-3)
This page is meant for applicants who wish to visit their family members who are residing in Korea, who intend to visit to Korea for
conference, training, participate in a competition without receiving remuneration...etc.

5.2 Voluntary Departure from Korea Applicant Visa (C-3-1)
This page is meant for Thai citizens who reported voluntary departure during the period specified by the Korean government.

5.4 Group Tourist Visa (C-3-2)
This page is meant for applicants who wish to travel as a group through a travel agency.

This page is meant for a seaman who wish to join large ships.

6. Temporary Employment Visa (C-4)
This page is meant for applicants who wish to travel for short-term employment purposes such as short-term performances,
advertising and entertainment, teaching and lectures, research, technology consulting, etc.

7. Student Visa (D-2/4)

7.2 Research Study Visa (D-2-5)
This page is for applicants who pursuing a master's degree equivalent or higher and wish to participate in research study.

7.3 Korean Language Training Visa( D-4)
This page is for applicants who are with a minimum qualification at the high school level or equivalent and wish to study Korean
at the Language Institute.

8. Foreign Language Director Visa (E-2 (EPIK))
This page is for applicants who receive the certificate from EPIK.

10. Dependent Family Visa (F-3)
This page is for applicants who are spouse or unmarriaged minor of holders of Korean Arts and Culture (D-1) visa - Foreign
National of Special Ability (E-7) * Except Industrial Trainee (D-3) visa holders.
* In the case of accompanying marriage visa holders (F-6) cannot apply for this type of visa.
