FILL GUIDE
Diaphragm seals are designed to protect pressure instruments from hot process media and corrosive
chemicals while minimizing any negative effect on instrument accuracy and durability. A well-made
diaphragm seal can achieve this goal only if it is properly assembled, filled, and tested. REOTEMP’s
highly trained technicians use state-of-the-art equipment so that every diaphragm seal assembly is filled
and tested to assure optimal instrument performance:
99 24-hour Minimum Fluid De-gassing 99 Verification of Instrument Calibration
99 Evacuated Instrument Chamber Up to 99 High-temp Pipe Sealant Used on All Threaded
10-8 mbar Absolute Joints (Welded Joints Upon Request)
99 Complete Fill Integrity Check 99 Tamper-proof (Inspection Seal) Lacquer used
99 Fill-port Leak Test on All Threaded Joints
99 Post-fill Static Test 99 Sturdy Diaphragm Packaging Protection
