Life is a journey and there is always an end to the life of everyone here on Earth. Our journey starts from
birth and must eventually end in death. It is not easy to pencil in comprehensively the life journey of a
virtuous woman. However with tears and deep sense of humility, we must pencil in few things about our
mummy, "Daa KELE" as was fondly called by her family, peers and close friends.
BIRTH: Deaconess Glory Kelechi Nwachinemere (Nee Ehikem) was born on 1st January 1961 about 62
years ago into the family of late group leader Simeon and late deaconess Rosaline Jojo of Amaogwe
Umuezenta Umuomainta Nbawsi in Abia State Nigeria. "Daa Ekele" was the 4th child and the second
daughter of their parents out of 6 children which only 3 are alive to bid farewell and goodnight to their
dearly loved sister today being 28th day of September 2023.
EDUCATION: Deaconess Glory Kelechi Nwachinemere (Nee Ehikem) attended primary School at St
Georges Primary School Nbawsi where she obtained her first School leaving certificate. She proceeded
and got admission into mid-town stenographic Centre where she got other internal and external
certificates. Because of some limitations, Daa Ekele was not able to proceed to the tertiary institution
but she was opportune to serve under Chinwendu maternity home as a nurse in 1984. After serving she
was given a certificate as a certified nurse and she did very excellent in that field.
RELIGIOUS LIFE: Daa Ekele was a Christian to the core. She lived a Christ-like life and was committed to
the things of God. She was a member of Apostolic Christian Church Mission (ACCM) before marriage.
She was wedded at St Thomas Anglican Church where she worshipped until her husband died. After her
husband's death, she came home because of some unforeseen circumstances that she got entangled
with and reunited again with Apostolic Christian Church Mission till her last day on Earth.
Daa Ekele was appointed and anointed a Deaconess in ACCM Nbawsi being a virtuous woman she was.
She never ceased to acknowledge God as the author and finisher of her faith. Daa Ekele will always
stand on the part of Truth and was always bold to rebuke evil when she sees anyone practicing it.
Daa Ekele also extended her devotion and love for Christ by being a member of a renowned ministry
called "Solution Gate" in Amaogwe Umuezenta Nbawsi where she served and took care of the children.
She was a very great prayer warrior and a doer of God's word.
MARRIAGE: Late Mrs. Glory Kelechi Nwachinemere got married to Mr. Nwachinemere Benson
(Schoolboy) from Umuosu Nsulu in Isiala Ngwa North LGA Abia State who is also late. Their marriage was
blessed with 4 kids but 2 of them were gone to be with the lord leaving only the first child and the last
child to mourn the death of their loved mother and to say the final goodbye. To God be Glory.
SOCIAL/WORK/HORBIES: As a certified nurse, Daa Ekele was able to open a chemist. She managed the
chemist at her husband's place before the sudden death of her husband which triggered a lot of fear and
agony upon her and she returned to her family. She lived with her direct immediate elder brother for
more than 14 years where she joined her brother's wife to run her maternity home. Daa Ekele was a
jovial and sociable person. She will always smile and laugh at hilarious events. She was a strong member
and was the president of the “Umuokpu" clan before she passed.
LIFE JOURNEY: Around 22nd of March, we noticed an illness in her which within a short while ate the
deeper part of her life so fast that her family members tried all they could through drugs, care and
prayers to redeem her but all to no avail. She was taken to the hospital in several occasions, several
pastors and prayer warriors prayed for her recovery but unfortunately she gave up the ghost in the
hospital where she was taken to on the 21st of April, 2023. God knows the best.
A woman of virtue is gone away from the scene. We weep for you dear mother, wife, aunt, friend. We
are consoled in the fact that your memory lingers.

TRIBUTES
Is still like a dream to me that you are no more. You were a confidant, mentor, and friend, not just an
aunty. Your memory inspires kindness, compassion, and love. We miss you more than words can say but
knowing you are at peace and that your spirit lives on in our hearts comforts us.
You're loved forever.

My lovely caring mother, the sun have said while it was still bright for harvesting the fruit of your labor,
mummy you left this sinful world the time we your children needed you the most. Nothing can replace
the motherly care that you so generously extended to all. You have left a big vacuum that cannot be
filled. Nevertheless, you have left us with sweet memories of your forgiving spirit, patience, hospitality,
hard-working, peace, humility, limitless love your sumptuous meal, jokes and how you even call me
"Ezenwa" God took you in his loving arms, who are we to question God. When death is inevitable, it is a
price everyone has to pay. Rest in the bosom of the Lord till we meet to part no more. Goodnight sweet
mum.
Your lovely son

Mummy, you will always be in my heart. You were more than a mother-in-law to me. I never expected
you to leave me so soon but God knows why it happened. I wish you would come back to me, so we
could continue to live together again. Thank you for all the advice and cancel you gave to me. You had
always been a peace-loving, caring, courageous and God fearing. I will miss you and always cherish the
memory I had with you. May your soul rest in peace. Adieu Mummy
Your Love
Mrs. Ogechi Ifeanyi (Daughter-in-law)
Tribute to a woman I took as my second mother. Each time I pick up a pen to say farewell to you Daa
Kele, a tear drops in my heart and I ask you; "is this how you left us despite all the promises I made to
you to give us a better life?" I prayed all I knew how to pray so you can get better but that news by 3am
on the 21st of April brought a shock and agony that hasn't left me since then. You always called me
"Dede Victor" and even if we fight, we make up almost immediately... I will miss you Daa Kele... I pray
you are at the right hand side of God.
Good night Daa Kele till we meet on the resurrection morning.
It's me Dede Victor
