RIZAL IS MY HERO
Jose Rizal's nonviolent yet effective struggle for freedom helped him to
become the national hero of the Philippines. He was a very remarkable individual
who was modest and who employed his brains, talents, and skills in a way that
was more conciliatory than combative. He was banished to Dapitan because he
decided to go back to the Philippines despite the fact that he would soon die. His
work Instruction, in which he called for changes to educational institutions and
instructional practices, underlined his conception of education. He saw that the
Philippines' lack of development during the Spanish era was not a result of the
people's indifference, apathy, or laziness, but rather of the disregard shown by
the Spanish colonial rulers.
Jose Rizal is regarded as the national hero of the Philippines due to his
stoicism and devotion to the nation. He made the case that education is the
cornerstone of society, a requirement for social advancement, and a means by
which the nation might be freed from foreign rule. He was an honorable and
modest man who, rather than leading a revolution, pushed for improvements
through his words. Jose had nine sisters and one brother, and he was literate by
the time he was five. Living by his values will help him succeed in life, and
education is a crucial component of success.
