A written examination consisting of 7 question papers each of three hours duration. The Paper-V &
VI will be Elective subject & a separate paper for each elective subject chosen by the candidate will
be given. Particulars of Theory question paper & distribution of marks are shown below.
Clinical Examination will be aimed at examination of clinical skills and competence of the candidates
for undertaking independent work as a specialist.

There shall be 2 examiners. One of them shall be external outside the university and the other shall be
internal preferable from the same college or as decided by the university.
CRITERIA FOR DECLARING AS PASS IN UNIVERSITY EXAMINATION
A candidate shall be declared to have passed the examination if he/she has obtained the following
qualifying marks:
(a) 50% marks in theory including written examination and internal assessment of each
theory subject and
(b) 50% marks in practical including practical examination and internal assessment of the
subject.
A candidate who secures not less than Sixty percent of marks in any subject shall be declared to have
passed the examination in that subject in First Class and not less than Seventy Five percent for a
Distinction provided he/she has passed all the subjects in first attempt.
