6. Production Plan
6.1 Description of Company’s Operation

CookieCo is a business that will serve delicious and healthy yet affordable
dessert to the customer.

The day to day operations of our cookieco business include a focus on

providing the best customer service as well as fun when you're satisfy on cookies that
you eat.We are aware that the goal of the cookieco business is to provide freshly
baked cookies at a reasonable price so that the students in our neighborhood can enjoy
tasting our delectable cookies. We have discovered that offering more flavors of
cookies is a major selling point for the cookieco company, therefore we immediately
considered purchasing stock to prevent the flavor from running out.

Making our cookie business' storefront extra appealing to attract passing

customers are another big part of our operation plan and we continue to use these
promotional technique to bring customer through our door. We have already
experienced significant success employing these strategies, and we want to fully
utilize them going forward

Procedure: flour, cream butter and sugar, eggs, vanilla extract. (1) Sift dry
ingredients like flour, leaveners (baking powder or baking soda) and cocoa powder
(but not sugar) to combine and aerate them, making for fluffier cookies. Put them in a

19
fine-mesh strainer over a piece of parchment paper, shake the strainer until
everything's on the paper, then when it's time to add, pick up the paper and let the
ingredients slide out into the mixing bowl. (2) Cream the butter and sugar together.
(3) Beat eggs into the creamed butter and sugar, one at a time, to add moisture to the
air pockets and flavor to the dough add the vanilla extract or sometimes milk, if the
recipe calls for it. They’ll incorporate best at room temperature; place them in a bowl
of warm water for a few minutes to warm them up quickly. (4) Add the dry
ingredients in a few batches, folding gently. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as you
go to keep everything incorporating evenly. Use a light touch — overworking the
flour makes for tough results. (5) Fold the heavy ingredients, like chocolate and nuts,
into the batter to keep it light and tender. Sprinkle the mix-ins on top, then take a large
flexible spatula and slice it into the center of the batter. (6) Scoop dough with a spoon
or a small ice-cream scoop and space the dough evenly on a baking sheet lined with
parchment. Other shaping techniques include making a chilled log of dough and
slicing it, rolling and cutting, and piping or using a cookie press. (7) then check one
cookie from the middle of the baking sheet and one from the edge for doneness.
Rotate the baking sheets to help cookies cook evenly. Remember, the cookies will
keep cooking once removed from the oven. Let them cool completely on a rack before
decorating, and store them in an airtight container.

combine. Mix in the white
chocolate chips.

2 large eggs,⅓ cup vegetable oil,½

teaspoon pure vanilla extract,1 cup
white chocolate chips

Using a small portion scoop, drop

rounded balls of the dough onto
your baking sheet. These cookies
flatten out quite a bit, so make sure
the balls are taller than they are
wide, and give them quite a bit of
space between each cookie.

Bake for 9-10 minutes. Do not let

them brown in the oven. They will
appear slightly undercooked, but
that is a good thing. They will firm
up and flatten as they cool. When
you take them out, you can add a
couple more white chocolate chips
to the top to make them look pretty
(this is a little food blogger trick!)

Allow to cool for at least 10

minutes.

3/4 cup unsalted butter ((1 •Cream together the butter VANILLA
1/2 sticks), softened) and sugar. This step helps
provide aeration in the
1 1/3 cup granulated sugar mixture, to give a light, fluffy
vanilla cookie. Make sure
1 large egg your butter is properly room
temperature, and scrape
1 large egg yolk down the sides of the bowl a
few times during the process
2 teaspoons vanilla extract to catch any stray unmixed
bits. I like to add in the
vanilla at this point too. I
make my vanilla cookies in
the stand mixer but it will
work just as well with an
electric mixer too!•Add the
egg. These classic vanilla
cookies just have one egg to
help hold everything
together.

•Add dry ingredients. Sift

together the all purpose flour,
baking soda, and salt, add to
the mixture, and mix until
only just combined. Finish
this step off by hand if you
need to to ensure that you do
not over mix the cookie
batter.

•Scoop and roll. Scoop the

cookies out onto your
parchment paper lined baking
sheet (I like to use a #40 or 2
Tbsp cookie scoop), then roll
into balls and toss in
granulated sugar or your
finish of choice

•Bake the vanilla cookies in a

preheated oven until they are
just set around the edges and
beginning to go golden
brown. They will deflate a
little when you remove them
from the oven
