Transfer Goal: The learners in the long run and on their own will be able to demonstrate
excellent decision-making skills in making food choices.
Essential Understanding: The students will understand the importance of nutritional guidelines
and a balanced diet in proper nutrition and health
Essential Question: Why do we need to know the importance of nutritional guidelines and a
balanced diet?

A. Presentation of Concept:
At the end of the period, it is expected that:

 I can explain the concept of malnutrition.
