2. DELIVERY SCHEDULE: Delivery period is 3 months from the date of PO.

3. PERFORMANCE BANK GUARANTEE: PBG is applicable. Successful bidder shall furnish a


Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) to NTPC SSC NR Vindhyachal for 3% of award value of
the Contract (exclusive of taxes and duties). Vendor shall submit PBG within Thirty days (30)
of the receipt of purchase order from the employer.

Validity of the PBG shall include the following periods:


a. Delivery period of the award.
b. Warranty period.
c. Three months beyond the expiry of warranty period.
The PBG shall be as per Performa attached in formats.

The stamp value shall be at least 0.25% of the PBG value subject to a maximum Rs.
25,000.00

4. GUARANTEE/WARRANTY: 12 months from the date of use/commissioning or 18 months


from the date of supply, whichever is earlier.

5. INSPECTION: PDI is to be carried out by NTPC at vendor’s works as per approved quality
plan.Vendor has to submit quality plan for approval to NTPC Ltd. Standard quality plan is
already uploaded with tender.

6. DRAWING: One number drawing is also attached with tender.


7. LOCAL CONTENT DECLARATION: Procurement under this bid is reserved for purchase from
Class 1 local supplier as defined in public procurement (Preference to Make in India), Order
2017 as amended from time to time and its subsequent Orders/Notifications issued by
concerned Nodal Ministry for specific Goods/Products.
The minimum local content to qualify as a class 1 local supplier is 50%.
All bidders must upload a certificate from the OEM regarding the percentage of the local
content and the details of locations at which the local value addition is made along with
their bid, failing which the bid is liable to be rejected.
In case the bid value is more than Rs 10 Crore, the declaration relating to percentage of local
content shall be certified by the statutory auditor or cost auditor, if the OEM is a company
and by a practicing cost accountant or a chartered accountant for OEMs other than
companies as per the Public Procurement (preference to Make-in -India) order 2017 dated
04.06.2020.

8. QUANTITY VARIATION: +/- 0.2%

9. Vendor has to submit guarantee/warranty, Material test certificate, MDCC along with supply
of materials.

10. PAYMENT TERM: 100% payment will be released within ten (10) days of issue of consignee
receipt-cum-acceptance certificate (CRAC) and on-line submission of bills.

11. Rest terms and conditions shall be governed as per GEM GTC.

Bid Securing Declaration: I hereby undertake not to withdraw or modify or impair or derogate from the
bid in any respect within the period of validity of this bid. I undertake that the information / documents
furnished in this bid are not false, misleading or forged. I also undertake to furnish requisite performance
security / PBG within stipulated timer equired as per GeM bid / RA conditions. I understand that GeM
has the right to debar me from GeM portal as per GeM GTC and GeM Incident Management Policy for
violation of this declaration / undertaking.

shall have the fullest liberty, without affecting this guarantee to postpone from time to time the exercise of
any powers vested in them or of any right which they might have against the Seller, and to exercise the same
at any time in any manner, and either to enforce or to forbear to enforce any covenants, contained or implied
in the contract between the Purchaser and the Seller or any other course of remedy or security available to
the Purchaser. The Bank shall not be released of its obligations under these presents by any exercise by the
Purchaser of its liberty with reference to the matters aforesaid or any of them or by reason of any other act or
forbearance or other acts of omission or commission on the part of the purchaser or any other indulgence
shown by the Purchaser or by any other matter or thing whatsoever which under law would, but for this
provision, have the effect of relieving the Bank.

The Bank also agrees that the purchaser at its option shall be entitled to enforce this guarantee against the
bank as a principal debtor, in the first instance without proceeding against the seller and notwithstanding any
security or other guarantee that the purchaser may have in relation to the seller’s liabilities.

1. (*) The Date will be Three Months beyond the expiry of the warranty period as specified in the order.

2. The Bank Guarantee shall be from a bank as per provisions of bidding documents.

3. While getting the Bank Guarantee issued, Bidders are required to ensure compliance to the points
mentioned in the Bank Guarantee Verification Check List in the bidding documents. Bidders are required
to fill up this check List and enclose the same alongwith the Bank Guarantee.

4. The Stamp paper of appropriate value shall be purchased in the name of guarantee issuing bank or the party

of appropriate value as per Stamp act prevailing in the States where the BG is to be submitted or is to be
