Brake cable
The brake cable on a bike is used to initiate the brake mechanism of cycles. It
has two parts, one of which is a braided inner cable and the other is an outer
cable. It helps in stopping the movement of a bike.
Brake level
On the handbrake of a bike, the brake lever is a petite lever made of metal
mounted. When we pull this lever, the bike comes to a halt.

Carriers in a bicycle are containers on the back of the bike, just after the seat,
which we use to carry luggage or goods while cycling.

A bike chain is part of the bicycle that consists of multiple pairs of steel plates
on the inside and outside that are separated by rollers. They are of two types.

The Chain stay of a bicycle is referred to the distance between the center of
the wheel and the center of the bracket shell located at the bottom of the bike.
Chain wheel
The chain wheel consists of more than one or one sprocket attached to the
arms, pedals, or cranks of a bicycle. It helps the bike to move forward by
rolling.
Crank
The Crank refers to all the gears, crank arms, chains, and derailleur. It is the
segment on which the chainrings bolt.
Crossbar
The crossbar is a metal frame or bar attached to the middle of the bicycle to
add to its strength and ensure support.

The down tube connects the bottom bracket shell and the head tube. It is
usually a structure that supports most of the bike and helps join various
functional parts together.
Fender
The Fender of a bicycle is used to attach the angle bracket to the fork crown.
It usually guards the wheel to prevent being thrown up by the rotation of the
tire.
Fork
The fork of a bicycle is that part that is a fork-shaped bar and holds the front
wheel. It has two blades or beams that are joined to either side of the wheel
and at the top by a fork crown.
Frame
The bicycle frame is the most vital part since it contributes to increasing the
strength of the cycle. It is fitted onto the wheels and other parts of the bike.
Front brake
The front disc of a bike or the set of brakes that are operated by the front
brake lever situated on the right handlebar and a read disc controlled by the
right foot is called front brakes.
Front derailleur
It is the mechanism that shifts the bike chain with the help of more than one
chainring. The front derailleur is that part of the bike which is attached to the
bike with a bracket or clamp.
Front fork
The front fork is the same as the fork of the bicycle. It consists of two blades
that are joined to the fork crown on either side of the front wheel.

bolt.

The Rear light serves the function of making the bike visible in darkness to
prevent accidents and when backing into a parking spot.
Reflector
The rim of a bike is the outer circle design which is the inside edge of a tire
mounted on the bicycle. It is a large hoop attached to the extreme ends of the
tire at the spokes of a wheel.
Seat
A seat of any bicycle is the rest post for the bike. It is the place one sits while
riding the bike. It is supported by the bar in a cycle.

The Seat post is the tube in a bike that connects the cycle frame to the saddle
where the bike rider is seated. They allow adjustability for varying terrain
types.

The Seat stay joins the seat tube with the seat clamp, and it is used to deliver
comfort and compliance to the riders.

saddle whose height is adjustable.

The stem of the bike is the segment that connects the handlebar to the

The rubber casing that is mounted on the bicycle rim is known as the tire. It
allows fiction with the ground and rigidity so that the rider can control their
