Societies can be affected by different types of hazards and require innovative systems and resources in order to respond effectively to them.

Differentiation
Teaching will be delivered verbally, visually, and through demonstration, which provides differentiation in
modes of understanding for students.
Modifications include: repeated practice, flexible working time, oral directives, reduced written tasks
according to Level of understanding, frequent/immediate feedback, defined expectations, preferential
seating, oral responses, and positive reinforcement.
