Q1. Reference made to the Ohm’s Pie Chart, give all formulas that describe:
a) How hard it is for the current to flow,
b) How strong is the flow of current,
c) How much power is being produced,
d) How much current is flowing.
Q2. Compare the renewable to the nonrenewable energy sources and give examples at each type.
Q4. a) A 100V battery is connected across a resistor of 5 miliamperes to flow. Determine the
resistance of the resistor.
b) Calculate the working resistance of a 240V, 60W incandescent lamp.
c) Two resistors of 10Ω and 20Ω are connected in parallel. If the total current is 30A, find the
current through each resistor.
d) Calculate the power dissipated by a resistor of 100Ω when a current of 2A passes through
it.
Q5. a) A Rectangular waveform has a positive pulse width (Mark time) of 10ms and a duty
cycle of 25%, calculate its frequency.
b) A Square Wave electrical waveform has a pulse width of 10ms, calculate its frequency.
