A pronoun is a word that takes the place of one or more nouns and the words that describe those
nouns. A personal pronoun refers to a specific person or thing. When a personal pronoun is the
subject of a sentence, it is a subject pronoun. When a personal pronoun is the object of a verb or
preposition, it is an object pronoun.
