    Allah created the universe with one hundred parts of mercy, each part filling the space between heaven and earth. He endowed one part of this mercy to Earth, which is why mothers show affection to children and animals/birds show kindness. On the Day of Judgment, Allah will use His full mercy. The Prophet said Allah's mercy predominates over His wrath, and one should not lose hope in Allah's forgiveness. He advised being moderate and constant in good deeds, even if small. Allah is most merciful and forgives all sins.

    Allah’s Mercy

    ۞ ِ ‫وا ِمن رَّحْ َم ِة ٱهَّلل‬ ۟ ُ‫وا َعلَ ٰ ٓى َأنفُ ِس ِه ْم اَل تَ ْقنَط‬


    ۟ ُ‫ى ٱلَّ ِذينَ َأس َْرف‬ َ ‫ۚ قُلْ يَ ٰـ ِعبَا ِد‬
    ‫وب َج ِميعًا ۚ ِإنَّهۥُ هُ َو ْٱل َغفُو ُر ٱل َّر ِحي ُم‬ َ ُ‫ِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ يَ ْغفِ ُر ٱل ُّذن‬
    [Zumar 39:53] Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “O my * slaves, who have
    wronged themselves, do not lose hope in Allah’s mercy; indeed Allah forgives all sins; indeed He only is the Oft
    Forgiving, the Most Merciful.” (All Muslims are truly the slaves of Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be
    upon him.)
    ‫ب‬
    ِ ‫َض‬ ٌ ‫َب فِي ِكتَابِ ِه َعلَى نَ ْف ِس ِه فَهُ َو َموْ ضُو‬
    َ ‫ع ِع ْن َدهُ ِإ َّن َرحْ َمتِي تَ ْغلِبُ غ‬ َ ‫ضى هَّللا ُ ْالخ َْل‬
    َ ‫ق َكت‬ َ َ‫لَ َّما ق‬
    Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬as saying:
    When Allah created the creation, He ordained for Himself and this document is with Him: Verily, My mercy
    predominates Mv wrath (Reference: Sahih Muslim 2751c)
    Dua from Hadith
    ‫ين َوَأ ْن تَ ْغفِ َر لِنا َوتَرْ َح َمنِا‬
    ِ ‫ت َوحُبَّ ْال َم َسا ِك‬
    ِ ‫ك ْال ُم ْن َك َرا‬ ‫ك فِع َْل ْال َخي َْرا ِـ‬
    َ ْ‫ت َوتَر‬ َ ُ‫اللَّهُ َّم ِإنِّا ن ْسَأل‬
    O Allah! We ask of you the doing of the good deeds, avoiding the evil deeds, loving the poor, and that You forgive us,
    and have mercy upon us (Amended to plural form from : Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3235)
    َ‫ُول هَّللا ِ قَا َل " َوال‬
    َ ‫ت يَا َرس‬ َ ‫ قَالُوا َوالَ َأ ْن‬. " ُ‫اربُوا َوَأ ْب ِشرُوا فَِإنَّهُ لَ ْن يُ ْد ِخ َل ْال َجنَّةَ َأ َحدًا َع َملُه‬ ِ َ‫َس ِّد ُدوا َوق‬
    . " ‫َأنَا ِإالَّ َأ ْن يَتَ َغ َّم َدنِ َي هَّللا ُ ِم ْنهُ بِ َرحْ َم ٍة َوا ْعلَ ُموا َأ َّن َأ َحبَّ ْال َع َم ِل ِإلَى هَّللا ِ َأ ْد َو ُمهُ َوِإ ْن قَ َّل‬
    A'isha, the wife of Allah's Apostle (‫)ﷺ‬, reported that Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬used to say:
    Observe moderation (in doing deeds), and if you fail to observe it perfectly, try to do as much as you can do (to live
    up to this ideal of moderation) and be happy for none would be able to get into Paradise because of his deeds alone.
    They (the Companions of the Holy Prophet) said: Allah's Messenger, not even you? Thereupon he said: Not even I,
    but that Allah wraps me in His Mercy, and bear this in mind that the deed loved most by Allah is one which is done
    constantly even though it is small. (Reference: Sahih Muslim 2818b). Also narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Huraira with
    some variations in Sahih Muslim 2816 a/b/c/d/e/f/g and Sayyiduna Jabir (2817 a/c)
    ِ ْ‫ُون َيرْ َح ُم ُه ُم الرَّ حْ َمنُ ارْ َحمُوا َأهْ َل اَألر‬
    ‫ض َيرْ َح ْم ُك ْم َمنْ فِي ال َّس َما ِء‬ َ ‫الرَّ ا ِحم‬
    Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As:
    The Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬said: The Compassionate One has mercy on those who are merciful. If you show mercy to those
    who are on the earth, He Who is in the heaven will show mercy to you.
    (Reference : Sunan Abi Dawud 4941)

    َ ‫اَ َيرْ َح ُم هَّللا ُ َمنْ الَ َيرْ َح ُم ال َّن‬

    Narrated Jarir bin `Abdullah:
    Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "Allah will not be merciful to those who are not merciful to mankind." Reference :
    Sahih al-Bukhari 7376
    َّ ‫ َوالَ يُو‬، ُ‫ َوالَ يُتَابُ َعلَى َم ْن الَ يَتُوب‬،ُ‫ َوالَ يُ ْغفَ ُر لِ َم ْن الَ يَ ْغفِر‬،‫اَ يُرْ َح ُم َم ْن الَ يَرْ َح ُم‬
    َّ ‫ق َم ْن ال يُتَ َو‬

    'Umar was heard to say, "Anyone who does not show mercy will not be shown mercy. Anyone who does not
    forgive will not be forgiven. Anyone who does not turn in repentance will not be turned to nor will he be
    protected or guarded." ( Reference: Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 372)
    ‫تـ َوـاـَأل ْـرـ َـ‬
    ‫ضـ ِمـاـَئةَـ َرـ ْـحـ َمـ ٍةـ ُكـ ُّلـ َـرـ ْـحـ َمـ ٍةـ‬ ِ ‫سـ َمـ َوـاـ‬ َ ‫هَّللا َـ َخـلَـ‬
    َ ‫قـ يَـ ْـوـ َمـ َـخـلَـ‬
    َّ ‫قـ اـلـ‬
    ‫ضـ َرـ ْـحـ َمـةًـ‬ ِ ‫ضـ فَـ َـجـ َعـ َـلـ ِمـ ْنـهَـاـ فِـيـ اـَأل ْـرـ‬ِ ‫سـ َمـاـ ِءـ َوـاـَأل ْـرـ‬ َّ ‫قـ َمـاـ بَـ ْيـ َـنـ اـلـ‬ َ ‫ِطـبَـاـ‬
    ‫ضـ فَـِإ َذـاـ َكـاـ َـنـ يَـ ْـوـ ُمـ اـ ْلـقِـيَـاـ َمـ ِةـ َأ ْكـ َمـلَـهَـاـ بِـهَـ ِذـ ِهـ‬ٍ ‫ضـهَـاـ َعـلَـىـ بَـ ْعـ‬ ُ ‫شـ َـوـاـلـطـَّ ْيـ ُرـ بَـ ْعـ‬‫فـ اـ ْلـ َـوـاـلِـ َدـةُـ َعـلَـىـ َـوـلَـ ِدـهَـاـ َـوـاـ ْلـ َوـ ْـحـ ُـ‬
    ‫فَـبِـهَـاـ تَـ ْعـ ِطـ ُـ‬
    " ‫اـلـ َّرـ ْـحـ َمـ ِةـ‬.
    Narrated Salman reported that Allah's Messenger (‫ )ﷺ‬said:
    "Verily, Allah created, on the same very day when He created the heavens and the earth, one hundred parts of mercy.
    Every part of mercy is coextensive with the space between the heavens. and the earth and He out of this mercy
    endowed one part to the earth and it is because of this that the mother shows affection to her child and even the beasts
    and birds show kindness to one another and when there would be the Day of Resurrection, Allah would make full (use
    of Mercy).” Reference : Sahih Muslim 2753c (Book 50, Hadith 25), Slight Variation: Sahih al-Bukhari 6000 and
    Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3541 (Abu Huraira), Sunan Ibn Majah 4293 etc etc
