1. When can we say that a person is financially stable?

We can say that a person is financially stable if he can afford daily necessities without relying on
a paycheck for a month, it also includes having a retirement plan, and emergency fund, and being
capable of buying things you want without affecting the budget for daily living.
2.Was there any experience that you may share about being confronted with a financial crisis or
being scammed? What have you learned from the said experience?
I do have experience when I am confronted with a financial crisis or being scammed. As I am
living humble life, I do not feel this financial crisis unless there are special needs. Like wanted to
join the yearly educational tour and recently when my father is in need of surgery, till his funeral.
Until now my sister still has huge debt under her name. And another situation when I ended up in
a financial crisis is when the little investment that I made a hundred percent profit which I did not
pull out, end up losing its value after the pandemic. Though the investment is still there the loss
value was huge 99%. And the time when I am scammed is during the pandemic. As I have been
earning online since I started around 2017 or 2018, I don’t have many funds, even if I made 100%
+ earnings, the earnings are just enough. During a pandemic, I am in search of other ways to earn
online. I earn some but there is a time that I was scammed. The financial crisis that I experienced
reminded me of having an emergency fund, and insurance. And in the field where I experience
being scammed. I do not feel much remorse as it is part of the field that I enter and I am well
aware that I may end up losing profit due to scams and, if I do not monitor the market properly.
There are saying that I encounter, “If you can’t afford to lose the money then do not even try”.
Well, It doesn’t stop me from wanting to earn online, even though I am not doing it for now as I
don’t have time for now, and the source of capital, I’ll be back in that field. The saying that I
mentioned is a reminder that does not to use the money for daily needs, use the extra money.

3.As a student, how do you plan your personal spending?

As a student, I am not planning, I am already embodying the plan. I already have an allocation on
how to spend my money. For my daily needs and for my niece as I live with my niece, for 15-day
days, I already bought 10 kilos of rice, two tray of eggs, and 20 packs of dried fish to make sure
that there is no day that there will be no food on the table. The budget for hygiene is also
included, toothpaste, soap, etc. My niece and my school expenses are already on a tight budget.
If asked about savings, I don’t have as the budget is optimized to the limit. If there is a leeway I
buy meat or fish so that we do not end up on egg and dried fish. I don’t have much choice as my
niece is not allowed to eat processed food,

4.Do you think it is relevant for teachers to be financially literate? Why?

Yes, it is because teachers are also an individual and not just instructors that teach students.
They are an individual that someday will not be able to work or they needed extra funds. Others
may say they need to be literate and as a teacher, they can affect others’ life and that act is
noble. For me embodying being literate is helpful for everyone already even if they do not try to
teach it to others. It is because you will not suffer financial instability, and by just being financially
stable no one is needed to shoulder you, financially. Helping others is just a plus maybe a given
because you are capable.
