CITIZENSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM
Content Standard: The learner learns about Citizenship Training Program and it’s two
components: Basic Leadership and Public Safety to enhance learners’ social responsibility and
commitment to the development of their communities.
Performance Standard: The learner intends to develop their abilities to u1. phold law and order
as they actively lead and participate in activities and projects for community development, and
assist the government, especially in times of emergencies.
I. OBJECTIVE/S:
a. Explain how courage and bravery characterizes a true Filipino soldier and citizen.
b. Discuss honesty and integrity as qualities of a good citizen.
III. PROCEDURE
Preliminaries:
a. Attendance
b. Review
c. Unlocking of difficulties
- Courage and Bravery
- Honesty and integrity
ACTIVITY:
a. Group Activity. Each group will be given a topic to be discussed within the group.
1. Group 1 – Courage and Bravery
2. Group 2 – Honesty and Integrity
b. Presentation of outputs. Each group will be given 2 -3 minutes to present.
ANALYSIS
Based on the activity, teacher will ask the following questions.
ABSTRACTION
1. Teacher will process the answers of the students leading to abstraction of concepts of
Courage and bravery.
2. Teacher will deepen the concepts of courage and bravery through class discussion.
APPLICATION :
IV. EVALUATION
1. How did Filipino soldier/ citizen show how courageous and brave they are?

2. Why honesty and integrity considered to be as a good qualities of a citizen?
