Name: Christian Dulliyao

Gender: Male
Age: 26
Date of Psychometric Test: 05-12-23
Tests given: 16PF
Date of Clinical Interviews: 05-12-23
Date of report: 05-19-23
Purpose of report: Psychological evaluation for employment purposes

I. Case Background:

Christian Dulliyao was referred for psychological evaluation by Adrian Depayso for
employment purposes.

Christian Dulliyao is a 26 year old male 4rth year student currently attending King’s
College of the Philippines. Christian was the first born among 4 siblings, the eldest among them.
He was born here in La Trindad, and is currently residing in Balili along with his family at the
time of administration. Christian stopped attending college for 2 years to financially support his
family. He is now continuing his studies as a psychology student to hopefully graduate and one
day become a licensed Psychologist. He was referred to here to take a psychological evaluation
for employment purposes in preparation for after he graduates in a few weeks’ time. Upon
administration, he was groomed, with his long hair being tied up in preparation for the exam.
Upon arriving to the test site, he was carrying a sling bag and a water bottle. He requested to take
the test immediately. When listening to the instructions, he was leaning forward and listening
intently. When asked if he felt any discomfort or if he wanted to comfort himself, he told the
examiner that he felt fine as he already comforted himself beforehand. He answered his test
quickly and spontaneously, and finished the test in under 30 minutes. Despite carrying a water
bottle, he did not take a single sip of it during the examination period. He did not take his eyes
off of the examination sheet, despite the occasional background noise. During the interviews, he
was also leaning forward and listening intently to the questions, and would give short and blunt
questions, nothing more, nothing less. Despite this, he would still smile during some questions
given, such as those relating to his siblings and his childhood.

Christian is a relaxed and confident, young man. At the time of examination, he was well
groomed and dressed. On appearance, there were no signs of tremors or abnormal movements.
Furthermore, he did not show signs of anxiousness that would have been typical of a person who
will be evaluated. He answered all the answers quickly and spontaneously, although not in
rushed manner. He understood all the instructions well, and he didn’t make any comments aside
from answering curtly when asked if he was uncomfortable. Thus, no test accommodation was
needed to guarantee more reliable data.

He was cooperative throughout the interview. He maintained adequate eye contact.

Christian articulated himself clearly. During the interview, he would take occasional sips from
his water bottle, as if it was a habit of his. Christian mostly answered the question bluntly with a
smirk on his face. While answering, he would lean forward to listen intently on the question
given. No signs of discomfort were shown during the interview. He would smile occasionally
when questions concerning his siblings or childhood would come up. When it came to questions
concerning his ambitions, he chuckled and answered that he just wanted to have enough money
to provide for his parents and siblings, and he doesn’t have much ambition after that. Although
he did clarify that he did have personal ambitions for himself, but he didn’t specify them.

When answering questions that were more casual, he would lean back and give eye
contact, with a relaxed smile. When it came to questions that concerned his family, or questions
that concerned his ambitions or ideas about certain things, he would lean forward and lean his
head towards the direction of the interviewer. He would take occasional sips from his water
bottle before answering more personal questions.

Christian did not exhibit any formal thought disorders. He was able to answer questions
spontaneously and directly. He did not use any new or created words. No negative thought
disorder was detected. He exhibited normal perception. He was alert and oriented to time and
place. He was able to answer questions and recall her past without difficulties. His speech was
coherent and short. He was able to understand all of my questions, and was quite eager to start
the exam so he can finish it.

The results show that Christian falls mostly on the average side for most of the factors. The only
factors that are outside the average range Is his openness to change, with a score leaning towards
openness to change and experimenting, and Self-reliance, which leans on being self-reliant,
Solitary and Individualistic. His scores show that he leans more toward being more reserved,
concrete, emotionally changeable, cooperative, and non-conforming. He is also more timid but
self-assured, but patient. The scores also show his tendency of being more Sentimental, vigilant
and Discrete.

III. Assessment

Based on the aforementioned results, Christian is a reserved, solitary individual that

prefers to focus on more concrete side of things, and is better of in a position where he isn’t
directly leading others due to him being more deferential and timid. Him being vigilance and
shyness makes working with others initially hard, but his openness to change might allow him to
adapt to the working environment. He will rarely be the one who will be taking initiative in
group projects, but he will be good at finishing them once a task is assigned to him. In terms of
reasoning, he is more concrete, but in terms of abstractness, he is more idea-oriented and
imaginative. This doesn’t show any sort of contradiction, but rather, when it comes to coming up
with new ideas, Christian is more imaginative and abstract, but when it comes to reasoning or
evaluating said idea, it focuses more on the concrete side of things rather than abstract, making
him a practical person, but at the same time able to come up with creative ideas that people
might miss as a solution to problems. That said, Christian also has a tendency to be unexacting
and complacent, which can be a problem when not pressured to deliver.

The interviews also affirms his nature. He would lean forward and listen carefully and
would only ask questions to affirm what he has stated. He would ask questions when clarification
is necessary. He is leaning forward while leaning his ears toward the interviewer, only giving eye
contact when it came time for him to give his answers.

There was no significant manifestation of personality concerns that was noted at the time
of his evaluation.

IV. Recommendations

Given the assessment, Christian is RECOMMENDED for employment without

reservations. The following are deemed important in order to bring out the best in her:

a. Assign him in a team with a leader that has a more cheerful disposition that takes
initiative. In this way, Christian’s cooperative nature will be fully be realized while
making sure he won’t be forced to initiate contact nor lead a group.

b. It’s best to assign him on a work space that is a bit further apart from his colleagues
so he can focus more on his work, but closer to the boss to avoid him being
complacent at work.

c. Allowing Christian more free time for himself as a reward for good work is an
excellent strategy in bringing the best out of him. Focus more on giving those rewards
when finishing tasks ahead of time to make it a habit for him.
