Past perfect
SUBJECT + HAD BEEN + PAST PARTICIPLE
After I had washed the dishes, I had a rest. After the dishes had been washed, I had a rest.
By the time I arrived they had watered the plant. By the time I arrived the plant had been watered.
INFINITIVE
She has to deliver the letters. The letters have to be delivered.
MODAL VERBS
They must repair the car. The car must be repaired.
