Wang Yi
FOUNDER & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Wang Yi is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bankside Capital.

He has 18 years’ Investment and fund management experience. He
served as Partner at CASH capital, Chinese Academy of Sciences,
managing Venture Capital funds of RMB 6 billion and Smart City Funds
of RMB 40 billion. Prior to that, he served as investment manager at
Temasek Holdings and was involved in private equity investments with
more than US$5 billion.
He was a first-generation investment banker in China at CICC and

managed IPOs and placements of major Chinese SOEs. Wang Yi has a
Bachelor of Economics, Tsinghua University; Master of Finance and
Economics, London School of Economics and Political Science.
Tang Hsiao Ching, CAIA
CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER
Hsiao Ching has over 20 years’ experience in wealth management,
private equity funds and direct investments. She was Head of Managed
Investments Advisory & Sales at Bank of Singapore, leading teams to
provide advisory services in funds and discretionary portfolio
mandates. Prior to that, Hsiao Ching was Head of Fund Solutions &
Advisory at Bank Julius Baer where she led fund advisory and fund due
diligence teams. She also served at BNP Paribas Wealth Management,
providing investment advisory for alternative and mutual funds.
She served 8 years at Temasek Holdings, focusing on private equity

funds, direct investments in biosciences, as well as post-investment
work with portfolio banks. Hsiao Ching has a BA (Hons) and MA (Oxon)
in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, University of Oxford, UK.
Li Jixiang
SENIOR INVESTMENT ANALYST
Jixiang has 3 years of experience in real estate investments covering

investment analysis, financial modelling, due diligence and post-
investment management. He previously worked at Partners Group as a
Product Manager in the real estate team. Later on, Jixiang became an
Investment Associate at RealVantage, handling real estate investments
in Australia, United Kingdom, and United States.
Jixiang holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Banking and Finance

from Nanyang Technological University.
