PLAN
COVID 19
The school was aware and prepared for another hazard of calamities such as fire,
earthquake, etc., and ready as an evacuation center but for a new type of this hazard or
situation about having coronavirus sickness was a great challenge occur on us. And as the first
step, we prefer to gather information about this kind of disease spreading through multimedia
resources.
'CO' stands for corona, 'VI' for the virus, and 'D' for disease. Formerly, this disease was
referred to as '2019 novel coronavirus' or '2019-nCoV.' The COVID-19 virus is a new virus linked
to the same family of viruses as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and some types of
the common cold. The official names COVID-19 and SARS-CoV-2 were issued by the WHO on 11
February 2020.
Viruses are named based on their genetic structure to facilitate the development of
diagnostic tests, vaccines, and medicines. Virologists and the wider scientific community do this
work, so viruses are named by the International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses (ICTV).
How long does it take for symptoms of the coronavirus disease to appear?
On average it takes 5–6 days from when someone is infected with the virus for symptoms to
show, however it can take up to 14 days.
