    Login to the

    given URL:
    digilocker.gov.in
    For those learners who DO NOT HAVE access to a Digilocker account, hit on SIGN UP and proceed
    with creating your account by mentioning your Aadhar Number.
    Learners who hit on SIGN UP will be redirected to this page.
    You can create your Digilocker ID from this page by filling in
    all of the mentioned details.

    After you hit on Submit, you’ll be redirected to a page that


    would request an OTP that will be sent to your registered
    mobile number.
    For those learners who ALREADY HAVE a Digilocker account, hit on SIGN IN and
    login with your Aadhar Number.
    Choose the option
    highlighted in the image and
    enter your Aadhar Number in
    the below mentioned field,
    type in your PIN.

    For those of you who have


    forgotten your PIN, kindly
    proceed with the “Forgot
    security PIN” and re-
    generate a new PIN.
    Enter the 6 digit PIN and login to the portal.
    Post login you will be redirected to the Digilocker home page wherein you’ll have access to all of your
    documents ranging from class 10 marks sheet to your Aadhar and driving license (If Issued).
    Navigate to Search Documents and type in ABC (Academic Bank of Credits) on the search bar. Click on
    the ABC ID Card
    After opening ABC ID card, you will
    be re - directed to this page
    mentioned in the image. Your name,
    date of birth and gender will be filled
    in automatically.

    Click the drop-down next to


    “Institution Type” and select
    UNIVERSITY.
    “Institution Name” select
    JAIN.

    And then click on Get Document.


    Post generation of your ABC ID card, you will
    be re-directed to this document, which you
    can download and save it for your reference.

    The ABC ID card will be a 12 digit number, and


    this number has to be uploaded on your JOSH
    portal, by accessing your profile page.

    The ABC ID is NOT THE SAME AS YOUR


    AADHAR NUMBER.
    For those learners who’ve already generated an ABC ID with a wrong “Institution Name”, kindly delete the
    generated ID card from the “Issued Documents” section of your Digilocker portal. And re-generate the
    correct ID with the correct “Institution Name”.
    Q: What is this ABC ID?
    A: It’s a unique ID generated against your Aadhar Card which would be made use of by academic institutions
    to deposit credits earnt during the academic program.

    Q: Is it mandatory?
    A: YES. It is compulsory for all INDIAN NATIONAL CITIZENS to get this done.

    Q: Is the ABC ID card mandatory to write my Semester Examinations?


    A: YES. As per the Online Course Examination Notification on the LMS, bearing Ref
    ID:10/JU/CDEVL/OL/Ex/2022-23, Providing ABC (Academic Bank of Credits) IDs with proof to the University is
    compulsory for the students to appear in the Examinations.

    Q: The portal does not open since I reside outside of India.


    A: Try using a VPN and generate the ID. Or reach out to one of your friends or family residing in India to get it
    done on your behalf.

    Q: I have updated a wrong ABC ID on the JOSH portal.


    A: You will be given access to re-upload the ID once again. Stay in touch with your JOSH portal.
    How to upload the ABC ID on JOSH?

    Login to your JOSH account


    and navigate to your profile.
    From your profile you’ll find an
    option to upload your ABC ID.
    Kindly ensure you update the
    correct ID.
