PG-PR Reply of complaint-12727 /CMD/CGM, PGRMS, CPGRMS & Email Complaints. Timely submission
the daily report for Exchange failure report/Cable break report/ OFC cut report etc. OP cell is the
nodal officer for monsoon control room. Timely compliance of Parliament Questions. Daily
Monitoring for improvement of operation parameters. Pursuance with SSAs for achieving the
Landline & BB Targets Assigned. Analysis of fault rate/Repeat Fault rate/same day /Next day fault
clearance and pursuance with SSAs. Timely submission of compliance of Level -1 services
implementation to circle office. MIS - OPERATION RELATED STATEMENT AND REPORT, VPT and
Broadband related statement and subsidity. Conducting of Development and Work committee
meeting. Procedure carried out for AMC of CDOT repairing cards of Mehsana SSA and timely process
of bills received from the Nodal officer. Closure of app 13 exchanges having less than 10 DELs and
between 10 to 20 DELs.

contribution thereto.
Due to heavy rain in North Gujarat w.e.f 25/07/15 (Saturday evening) which continued till 29/07/15(Wednesday
morning). Also, a cyclonic wave hit on 27/07/15 which resulted in blockage of many roads due to water logging &
uprooting of many trees. This affected telecom services very badly in entire Mehsana SSA. The worst effected area of
Mehsana SSA were Mehsana, Patan and Gandhinagar revenue districts. Moreover, there was a breakdown in electricity
supply(GEB) and also no scope of acquiring fuel from petrol pumps due to road blockage by uprooting of trees and
water logging.
The overview of network in Mehsana SSA which remained Out of Service is as mentioned below :
6 MBM exchanges namely Chanasma, Harij, Kadi, Chhatral, Mansa & Kheralu were out of service due to failure of
GEB supply. All these 6 MBMs were restored on 28/07/2015 and services at all SDCA HQs were made available by
making the DG sets operation through arrangement of fuel.
Many poles & transformes were badly affected by cyclonic rain and also GEB supply was not there. Through constant
persuation with GEB authorities, GEB supply was restored and many RSUs, ANRAX, 2G/3G BTS and WLL BTS were
made operation.
OFC routes connecting 33 stations were also attented on priority basis with the help of local maintainance team.
Most of the GSM BTS were failed due to Hardware damaged, which got restored by arranging required Hardware from
CMTS wing Ahmedabad.
