 Executive Summary
As a number of applications is making the customers irritated, Chatly is set to fill
the gap by its unique features which will provide its customers to use features of
multiples applications in a single application. It is specially developed to reduce
the time of the people who would swap between different applications for their
uses. It will allow the customer to instant chat, a number of different services and a
unique feature of sending gifts to surprise someone on their birthdays.

Introduction
Chatly is a chat application through which people can communicate with each
other. It will have different features which will make it unique and distinctive than
all the other chatting applications. It will not be like WhatsApp but a lot different
from it as it will contain a number of very unique features that will be integrated
in this application, the customers will not have to install applications separately.

Existing System / Competitive Analysis

The existing systems related to Chatly are WhatsApp, Instagram and Hangouts
which are also chatting applications but our system is different from these
applications in terms of its unique features. Customers have to download multiple
applications separately to use them like for fund transferring a customer needs to

download jazz cash/easypaisa applications. Similarly, for travelling from one place
to another a customer will need Uber/Careem application separately, and for
fashion service customer will need to download application like styleseat. There
would be an interesting feature for Chatly that would be of sending gift tokens to
your friends by buying a token from this feature which they can scan from their
nearest gift shop and can receive their gifts. Chatly is different in a way that all of
the above discussed features are integrated in this application and the customer
will not have to download different applications for different purposes.

Problem Statement
The problem statement for Chatly is that as we will be competing with WhatsApp
and WhatsApp is only use for communication purposes or for media sharing. Also,
WhatsApp does not contain any fund transferring related feature or any
transportation service or fashion related feature for which people separately have
to install applications like easypaisa/jazz cash, uber/Careem and styleseat which is
not convenient as a customer have to switch to different applications for different
purposes.

Proposed Solution
The solution that we will propose in our application is that besides communication

and media sharing purposes there will be a feature for sending gifts to your
friends and family through a token that you can buy on the same application and

send it to your friend, they can then scan that token from any nearest gift shop
and can receive their gifts. Other than that, there will be another feature of fund
transferring from the same application, there will be no need for customer to
download different applications for fund transferring, it will be like a mobile e-
wallet that will be integrated in the application. This application will also have a
transportation service feature integrated in it like Uber or Careem through which
a customer can conveniently book their ride by using the same application. This
application will also provide fashion service which will help the customer to find
nearby beauty salon.

Scope of the Project

The scope of this project is high level as it is required by the people who use
chatting applications. Besides of chatting, Chatly will also contain a number of
different features that will be integrated in this application. For Example, Chatly
will provide its customers with a feature of sending gifts through token that the
customer will buy from this application and send it to their friend which they can
scan from there nearby gift shop and can receive their gifts, similarly, it also
provides transportation feature through which customer can book their rides, a
fashion feature through which a customer can search for their nearby beauty
salon, and a mobile e-wallet feature through which a customer can transfer of
receive funds. Actually, Chatly provides a number of features which a customer
can use by using only this application and no use of swapping from one
application to another.

Rubab: Assalam-o-Alaikum!

Omaima: Wa Alaikum Asalam!

Fahad: Wa Alaikum Asalam!

Rubab: So, today I am here to ask both of you about the project you are making
which is probably a Mobile Application, if I am not wrong?

Fahad: Yes, it is a mobile application.

Rubab: Okay, so tell me what is it about?

Omaima: Actually, it is a chatting application through which people can

communicate with each other.

Rubab: Okay, so tell me the name of your project and how did this idea come to
your mind to create another chat application when already there are many?

Fahad: The name for our project is Chatly, as you can get an idea from the name
that it is a chat application. We created this application because as you said
there are many chatting applications out there but none of them have any
unique feature, they are both almost same.

Rubab: Okay! Can you tell me a little about your competitors?

Omaima: Yes sure! Here, we are competing with a world-wide chatting

application WhatsApp and Hangouts.

Rubab: Oh! Isn’t that a bit huge competition because as you also know
WhatsApp is a huge platform for a competition? Do you think it will be possible
for you to achieve your target by competing with such a big application?

Fahad: Yes, In Sha Allah! I believe that we will achieve our target one day. We
are not in a rush to take WhatsApp down, but I have faith in Allah that He will
make us successful one day and I also have faith in slow and steady wins the
race so not in a rush in any way.

Rubab: Okay then do you mind giving me a justification of how this chatting
application would not be same like the ones before?

Omaima: Of course! This chatting application would be different in a lot of ways
like if we talk about features this application contains a number of different
features which are all integrated in this application like , Chatly will provide its
customers with a feature of sending gifts through token that the customer will

there nearby gift shop and can receive their gifts, similarly, it also provides
transportation feature through which customer can book their rides.

Rubab: Okay, so Fahad are these the only features that you were talking about?

Fahad: No! There are some features that will be integrated in our application
like, a fashion feature through which a customer can search for their nearby
beauty salon, and a mobile e-wallet feature through which a customer can
transfer of receive funds.

Rubab: Interesting! So, what was the initiative behind this project?

Omaima: We did surveys and interviews through which we got to know about
how much people are having trouble when their mobile phones get hanged and
stuck because of the swapping between different applications.

Fahad: So, we thought why not we should create an application that will contain
distinctive features so there will be no need for people to install a number of
different applications.
