Bone Conduction apparatus

Description of the Experiment

Demonstration of propagation of sound through solids using a Bone Conduction apparatus.

Introduction:
Bone conduction apparatus is a device that enables sound to be transmitted to the inner ear through the bones of the
skull, bypassing the outer and middle ear. This technology has been developed to help individuals with hearing loss or
other auditory disorders who may not benefit from traditional hearing aids. It works by using vibrations to stimulate
the cochlea, the sensory organ in the inner ear responsible for converting sound waves into electrical signals that the
brain can interpret. Bone conduction devices are becoming increasingly popular due to their effectiveness and
convenience, as they do not require the use of ear molds or other invasive procedures. They are also used in sports
and other activities where wearing traditional headphones may be uncomfortable or unsafe.

In this activity, we will explore how bone conduction technology works using a bone conduction apparatus.

Activity:
1. Connect the amplifier with the bone conduction setup an power it up with
the adapter.
2. Connect the amplifier with the mobile using the Bluetooth
3. Bite the stick of the bone conduction setup and play a music in the mobile.
