NOTIFICATION

ADMISSION REGISTRATION TO M.TECH./ M.ARCH./MURP PROGRAMME (2023-24)

With respect to M.Tech./ M.Arch./ MURP Admission -2023, the following information is hereby
notified to all the concerned candidates:

1. Schedule & Important Instructions for Admission-Registration (Annexure- I)

2. List of documents required for Admission-Registration (Annexure- II)

3. Format of undertaking by the applicants for submission of the remaining documents, if


any (Annexure- III)

All the concerned candidates are requested to read the important instructions carefully and do
the needful accordingly.

Annexure- I

Schedule & Important Instructions

1. Online Admission-Registration - July 11, 2023 (09:00 a.m. onwards) to July 13, 2023.
2. Physical Documents verification at Convocation Hall, IIT Roorkee –
July 14, 2023 (09:00 a.m. to 05:30 p.m.)

3. Process for online Admission-Registration:

Access the URL https://pgadm.iitr.ac.in/#/account/login

a) Click on “Register New Account”


b) Log in to the Admission Portal :
(https://pgadm.iitr.ac.in/#/account/login?returnUrl=%2Fhome) with the login credentials
used during the application submission process.
c) Personal Information- Some of the personal details will be auto populated and cannot
be edited. Candidates to examine these and fill up the empty fields.
d) Upload Documents- Upload the required documents on the portal given at
Annexure-II.
e) Submit- Tick on Declaration and submit.
f) An acknowledgement email will be sent to candidates’ registered email id after successful
submission of admission registration process.
4. IITR E-mail address and Enrolment number will be provided to the candidates on their
registered e-mail IDs on July 17, 2023, only after the completion of the admission registration
process and physical document verification.

6. Only admissible amount shall be refunded after the completion of admission process, if a
candidate gets himself/herself registered online and then cancels his/her admission.
7. Candidates are advised to check the website/portal/ emails regularly for further
updates/information.

Note:

1. The admission- registration will be provisional. Confirmation will be subject to submission of all
required documents and verification of it with the original documents on July 14, 2023.

2. No extension beyond the scheduled date and time will be permitted on any ground. The
admission of the candidates, who fail to complete the said registration processes (online and
physical verification) as per the schedule, will be cancelled without any notice.
Annexure-II
List of documents Required for Admission Registration

(A) Regular Candidates (under Institute Assistantship)
1. Soft copy of colour photograph (only in JPEG)
2. Soft copy of signature (only in JPEG)
3. Valid GATE Score Card
4. 10th Marksheet/certificate
5. 12th Marksheet / Diploma certificate
6. UG Marksheet & Degree/Provisional Degree Certificate
7. PG Marksheet & Degree/Provisional Degree Certificate (if applicable)
8. For result awaited candidates:
A certificate from College / University authority from where the candidate has appeared for
the qualifying degree examination including back papers but only result is awaited.
9. Category certificate (as applicable):
(a) SC/ST
(b) Valid EWS / OBC-NC as per the format of the Govt. of India issued after March 31, 2022.
10. Copy of Aadhaar Card (Optional)
11. Certificate from the Govt. Medical Board to support the physically handicapped status, (if
applicable)
12. In case, any of the above document(s) is/are not available at the time of registration, a
self-declaration undertaking must be submitted to complete the process, failing which the
admission will be cancelled (Annexure -III).
(B) IIT Graduates:
1. Soft copy of colour photograph (only in JPEG)
2. Soft copy of signature (only in JPEG)
3. 10th Marksheet/certificate
4. 12th Marksheet/certificate
5. UG Marksheet & Degree/Provisional Degree Certificate with CGPA 8 or above
6. PG Marksheet & Degree/Provisional Degree Certificate (if applicable)
7. For result awaited candidates:
A certificate from College / University authority from where the candidate has appeared for
the qualifying degree examination including back papers but only result is awaited.
8. Category certificate (as applicable):
(a) SC/ST
(b) Valid EWS / OBC-NC as per the format of the central government.
9. Copy of Aadhaar Card (Optional)
10. Certificate from the Govt. Medical Board to support the physically handicapped status, (if
applicable)
11. In case, any of the above document(s) is/are not available at the time of registration, a

(C) Golden Girl Scheme:
1. Soft copy of colour photograph (only in JPEG)
2. Soft copy of signature (only in JPEG)
3. 10th Marksheet/certificate
4. 12th Marksheet/certificate
5. UG Marksheet & Degree/Provisional Degree Certificate
6. PG Marksheet & Degree/Provisional Degree Certificate (if applicable)
7. Proof of FIRST Rank Holder (Gold Medallist) female candidates from an IIT and/or
Institute/University within the TOP 50 ranks (OVERALL category) in the NIRF in the most
recent year (applicable to Golden Girl Scheme only)
8. Category certificate (as applicable):
(a) SC/ST/ Gen-EWS / OBC-NC.
9. Copy of Aadhaar Card (Optional)
10. In case, any of the above document(s) is/are not available at the time of registration, a
self-declaration undertaking must be submitted to complete the process, failing which the
admission will be cancelled (Annexure -III).

Note-
1. In case any of the above documents is not available at the time of registration, a
self-declaration undertaking (Annexure -III) must be submitted to complete the
process, failing which the admission will be cancelled.
2. The provisional admission of the candidate will be automatically cancelled if
he/she fails to submit the said documents till August 17, 2023 without any
notice.
